“Most Convenient Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

Stayed here for 8 days and no doubt its the most convenient hotel we've ever stayed. The room is not big but its clean & spacious enough to move around. Ours was a queen size bed and its comfy. They provide kettle & mug but no coffee / tea. Rooms don't come with breakfast but front desk will give you a discount voucher which will cost 14000won ($14). If you choose not to have the breakfast, there are 2 bakeries (Tous le Jour and Paris Baguette) and a Coffee Bean across the street. Wifi is free even in the rooms and toilet is in excellent condition. The airport bus shuttle no.6015 is just 8min away across the street (in front of Sejong Hotel),the underground subway is 3min away (located on both left & right of the hotel) but the best part of the hotel is it's located right across the Myeongdong Shopping Area. Ladies will go wild and men can indulge on food & beverages. Lotte Shopping Mall and Shinsegae Mall is also located nearby (10min walk) and N Seoul Tower can be seen behind the hotel although you might want to take a cable car instead of walking all the way up. Be warn, Seoul has many stairs and steep walkway. Wear comfortable shoes if you plan on walking / sightseeing.

Room Tip: For non-smokers, don't forget to request for a non-smoking room.

Located across from the Myeongdong shopping area and close to other sites in Seoul. Also conveniently located near the subway and airport shuttle. The rooms are a bit small, but they're clean. Staff is very friendly too.

Nice and cheap hotel with perfect location in the middle of Myeong Dong. Is also next to the subway line number 4 and also close to line number 2.
Clean rooms and friendly staff.
Poor breakfast and not worth the money. Better to walk across the street to caffe benne and have a coffee and a sandwich there for under half the price.

Room Tip: High floor.

It was not too far of a drive to the hotel destination and the staffs were pleasant and professional. They all were sufficient in Japanese/English. The hotel room was clean and neat. We had a wonderful time shopping at the Myung Dong Shopping District which was just across the underpass from the hotel. During the Weekend the shopping areas are extremely crowed but there are some great looking knockoffs, if you are looking for a bargain you might some some items.

Right next to Myeong-dong, a very popular shopping area, my wife and daughter had no complain at all. There is an underground train station just 2 minutes walk away, so you could easily hopping from one shopping area to another, all you need is a underground train station map and a travel guide.
The room size of our Deluxe Twin is very comfortable considering this is a hotel in a metro area. By the way, you can take the airport bus no. 6015 at Incheon Airport, and get off at the last stop and the hotel is just 5 minutes walk across the road.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2012

I stayed at this hotel 4 nights in July 2012. The hotel has an excellent location: on a main artery road, at the line 4 metro station, a lot of bus lines, near the myeongdong shopping area, 10 minutes walk from the Shinsegae elegant department store, 10 minutes walk to Seoul Plaza, city hall and Shila Hotel and shopping Center. I strolled one afternoon, and passed by several of Seoul's attractions (which I visited later): Myeongdong Cathedral, Cheonggyecheon canal, Tapgol Park, Jogyesa Buddhist temple, Insadong pedestrian area, Gwanghwamun Square, Deoksugung Palace, Seoul Station, Namdaemun Market, the cable car station to the N Seoul Tower in Namsan Park, and Namsangol Hanok restored Village. I suggest that you take the City Tour Bus which passes by these places, and others, to orient yourself (just $9). The stop is just in front of the hotel.
The hotel itself is very clean, rooms are not terribly large, but comfortable. They provide a water heater (but no coffee or sugar) and 2 complimentary bottles of water. The service at the front desk was excellent, although their English is quite poor (a very common problem in Korea). The price is very reasonable. Breakfast is not included but it costs 14,000 Won (about $13, ask for a discount coupon at the front desk) and it is a very rich breakfast. There is no real lobby or other business facilities. WiFi is free in the rooms.
I recommend this hotel if you are not looking for a very fancy hotel, with an impressive lobby, a swimming pool and spa, etc.

We only stayed here one night, but it was in a perfect location. The rooms were larger and better equipped than I had imagined and the staff spoke good English and were most helpful.
The down side of the two rooms we booked were that they were obviously smoking rooms, in future I would request non smoking rooms.
Good to have a kettle, air conditioning and amenities in the bathroom, altho there was no shampoo and check out is not til noon.

it is very easy to get a bus from the airport to almost outside the hotel - get bus 6015 - it is the last stop on the route, taking about 60-75 mins.
