“Grand and good hotel.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013

Its been a pleasure to stay in this hotel, the hotel staff were sweet enough to upgrade me to junior suite with no extra cost and kept a wine bottle and basket of fruits on our arrival. For casino lovers this is a perfect place. the breakfast had a very good variety , plus we were there during the winter time when it was snowing, so it had made it much more beautiful experience.

Typical Hilton standard. A bit decentral sited, quite comfortabel, excellent for business stayings, for private purposes I would look for another hotel. Room was not that large, but ok. Bathroom very clean, with a hightech closet. Desk, IT architecture like a bureau, Great view on the city. I was the 2nd time there and will take the hotel once again next time.

Excellent breakfast.

This hotel was very welcoming from check-in to check-out. Everybody on staff speaks English and the hotel offers several restaurants with a many Western options. Let there be no mistake here in that this hotel caters to western business travelers, particularly Americans, who are made to feel well at home here. The only drawback as far as I am concerned is that this is an older hotel with a HVAC system that can't provide heating or air conditioning to suit all travelers needs. On a recent vist in early April I was unable to run the air conditioning as only heating was available. So if having the ability to fully control the temperature in your room is important to you, then you might want to stay elsewhere.

Stayed at the hotel with my family -3 adults and 3children. We took 2 rooms and was allocated rooms facing Nansan Park. Fantastic view. Hotel is located near Seoul station and within walking distance to Nandaemun and Nansan Park. Service was good and staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay there whenever I go Seoul.

This was my first visit to Seoul. I usually stay with Hilton Hotels, and am glad I did this time. The hotel is well staffed with courteous, helpful people, most all of who speak English. I got the feeling they really care about their guests, and are genuinely glad to have you. A special thanks to Ms. M.J. Kim at the concierge desk who was so helpful to me with directions, restaurant information, and many other things. Also, the staff of the executive lounges were so pleasant. Their food and beverages were plentiful and varied. The lap pool and gym were most welcome after a day of sightseeing. I had a room with a beautiful view of the mountain and Seoul Tower. A short walk to Seoul Station and the large Namdaemun Market. My only regret about this hotel was having to leave it and its friendly staff.

Room Tip: If you like a room with a view, request one facing Namsan Mountain and the Seoul Tower. A pleasant...

Nice Hilton in good location to the train station. Bar is expensive, but like any hotel bar.

Good pool next to 3rd floor dinning, large gym also.

On the hill so walking from the hotel is fine if you can manage hills.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

The Hilton Millennium Hotel is an example of what I would wish every Hilton branded hotel to be like. There was nothing immensely surprising about this hotel; the room was well sized, not overly large or small with a nice working area and a sufficient bathroom. Lights, alarm, etc. were all controlled with a panel situated on either side of the bed. The technology was a bit dated but it worked well and at the end of the day that's really all you can ask for. The bed was comfortable and the Hotel's location in Seoul was fantastic both for business and for touring around some of the city's landmarks.

When compared to some of the other brands in the Hilton portfolio such as Conrad or Waldorf Astoria you may say that the rooms aren't as large, amenities not as plentiful, etc. and it's true that it isn't an over the top experience. But, with a pleasant room, wonderful staff, and a great location this isn't a hotel I'd hesitate to stay in again or recommend to friends / colleagues.

Room Tip: High floor with a tower view
