“Nice hotel. A little out of the way.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013 via mobile

Wonderful breakfast. Nice staff. Happy overall, just awhile away from my meeting. Seoul is very large. Make sure you are in the right part of town.
The rooms were very tasteful and comfortable. Best bed I've had in town.

We have stayed at your hotel during December 2012 and we really enjoyed the ambient and cleanliness of the hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful. Mr. Raymond J. Yi from Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel is very helpful in assisting us to locate one of our clothings we have left behind and have helped us to send it back to us to Singapore. We are very grateful and we will recommend friends to this hotel for their service. Thank you, Mr. Yi.

From: Mr. and Mrs. Tan from Singapore.

Nice hotel no complaints. Polite and pleasant staff. The Woo Bar is just walking distance round the corner and a nice place to hang out. In addition the hotel has a nice bar with views over the city on the 16th floor. We left early for a flight and the coffee bar in the lobby was closed, the staff were very helpful and managed to get us take away coffees from the restaurant

A Standard Sheraton with good hotel transportation to Seoul city center and shopping street. There is a little Casino in the basement level and you will have to show your passport if you look like a Korean. Unfortunately or fortunately, I must look like a Korean (I am not) and was asked at the entrance of the Casino for my passport. But, no identificaiton was required for my Malaysia colleague who just waltzed through the entrance and right into the Casino area.
The Executive Club Lounge is nice althought the opening time is a little short - 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM only for the evenings.
I had the complimentary breakfast in the Lobby Restaurant. I stayed at this hotel for 7 days and the items at this Breakfast did not change. It started to get old after a few days of having to eat the same things. The hotel management should consider having alternate Breakfast Menu every few days.

Room Tip: Being a Platinum Member, I was upgraded to a Suite on the Executive Floor. It was nice. But my col...

Check in was effortless. Once you walked in, you know this hotel has got its swagger. Cut the story short. Well appointed rooms, for a change, TV programs in English, and helpful staff. Awesome sight of the river once you drive out. The casino downstairs on lower lobby was a lot better than the ones on Jeju Island, but the staff seems to focus on the Mainland Chinese high rollers. Downside is of course its pretty far away from town.

Stayed 2 nights for a conference. Was greeted on arrival by hotel's airport tranfer service and took about an hour to reach the hotel. Checking in was a breeze and was upgraded to a junior suite as they ran out of deluxe rooms :-). Service was good and they have a 'no tipping policy'. Room was nice and spacious with the usual amenities. Wifi / cable Internet was expensive though (approx 24,000 won per 24 hrs); a better choice would be to rent an iPhone with data plan or WiBro egg from KT at the airport when you arrive ([--]). They have quite a number of restaurants but expensive. The hotel is however located quite far from the city centre/ tourist area and A trip to city centre takes about 30mins by taxi and costs approx 22000-24000 won. Would not have stayed here if not for the conference and would have chosen a hotel nearer the city.

they upgraded us to a junior suite with a queen and a twin bed, including a robe and slippers for a little kid, very cute. Nothing around the area except for a casino, but they do provide hourly free shuttle service into the center of the city.
