“Rain or shine - will get you there and back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

Seoul Metro made up of several different corporations comprised of 8 regular lines numbered 1 through 8 and other ancilliery lines branching out to the four corners of Seoul metropolitan area and taking care of the 15+ Million residents of the city. Trains are clean, safe, efficient, not expensive, frequent, on schedule, and did I say "safe!" - yes - one of the safest rapid transit systems I have experienced from my travels around the world. From around 5:00 AM until about 1:00 AM - you absolutely have nothing to worry about. I take the train back and forth to work and it beats driving any day and besides, I feel like I am doing my small part to try to save the planet! Highly recommend since their is absolutely limited space to park anywhere in the city - so leave your car at home and patronize Seoul Metro at every opportunity. Evens gets out to places like Bundang and Chuncheon and not to mention the new Incheon airport. Can't be beat - rain or shine!

“Great network”

You can easily transfer within Metro, KTX, ITX, Rail and go all over korea. It is better to travel with the T money.

“Go anywhere on time.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

It is essential to ride them in Korea. You can reach anywhere very conveniently. The only thing you need know is to avoid rush-hour time. You will be packed like anchovies in a can with sometimes sharing perfume of what they have eaten.

“Best next to Osaka”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

I love that the Seoul Subway system is fast , efficient , on time and reasonably priced. It's very easy to go around Seoul with a very handy T-money card. The only set-back is the few escalators from the lower platforms , good thing I hit the treadmill before my Seoul trip , Iam so ready for the stairs !

“Seoul Metro”

Comprehensive system but confusing to use. Changing lines and buying tickets not as user friendly as Tokyo.
