“Posh Georgian”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

Good quality Georgian food including a few options I'd not seen before. Portions sensibly sized rather than the enormous I'd experienced elsewhere. Extensive wine list too.

Service was normal for Georgia - ie a bit sluggish - but also a bit on the snooty side too.

This was by some stretch the most I'd paid for a meal in Georgia (50GEL for two courses and a glass of wine). Not expensive by Western European standards but maybe a bit more than people might be used to spending in the region.

For people struggling to find the place as I did, it's just to the east of the Sulphur Baths, set back from the main road.

Great food (the khinkali were just excellent), cosy atmosphere, top service. One of the best places in Tbilisi!

“Consistent quality and good service.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2013

Experience variety of Georgian dishes in good quality and reasonable price. Nice outdoor seating, easy parking. This place, in my opinion can be best described if to compare it to vehicle. It is like Honda. Not much excitement but quality and reliability is always there. So, if you do not want to experiment with your stomach and purse this is place to go. Value for money.

“Good food, nice setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

This restaurant comes very recommended by many people and for good reasons. The menu as well as the wine list are very complete and the food great. They bake bread specialities on site (try the khachapuri!). The location is perfect, very close to the bars and attactions of the old city, but not in the middle of it.

“Worth a Return Visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

The beans in a clay pot are to die for. The cold appetizer plate with eggplant and red peppers wrapped around a walnut filling are a terrific accompaniment, along with a warm puff of stone-baked Georgian bread. Sip a glass of Saperavi, add some people watching and wait for a view of sunset over the river. The air cools down -- and suddenly you've created the perfect evening.
