“I'm not sure to come back there!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2011

we were there only two nights, fortunately, a lot of noise out there, the maid did not clean the room, there was no toilet paper, do not ask for meals, because they do get food from another restaurant, the breakfast was poor , and not of an international type, i can say this: it was very cheap and the beds were hard as I like. The location is great to visit old Tbilisi because place near the center of town

We stayed in Armazi Palace for a week. We receiverd a really warm welcome and the staff were more than helpful. The rooms with comfortable beds were clean, the breakfast - good and varied. The location of the place is excellent - in the centre of the city and in one minute's walk fom the metro station. Some insignificant problems with bathroom equipment didn't affect positive general impression and we enjoyed our stay there.

The Armazi Palace was a pleasant find for us. The room price was very reasonable ($70). The front desk staff spoke English and were very helpful and accommodating. There is no elevator, but, unless you have problems negotiating stairs, this should not be a problem. Our room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. The Armazi Palace serves a traditional Georgian breakfast (included in the room price). If you are in need of a glass of wine or a drink of something more bracing, you can get one in the lobby at a reasonable price. The hotel is located close to the Metro making it very convenient to travel to the rest of the City. We had a pleasant stay at the Armazi and recommend it and would definitely return.

My wife and I took our first trip to Georgia and Tbilisi. We wanted a middle of the road hotel that was affordable yet nice by western standards. We found this hotel on line and stayed for five nights. WE LOVED IT! It was a stones throw from a metro station (very important and only 1 stop from the old city). Our rooms were clean and had modern (new) sheets and furniture. The bathrooms were clean and nice and the rooms had AC, TV, & Wireless. Breakfast was included. It was a simple but good breakfast (hard boiled eggs, bread, cheese, muffins, cucumbers & tomatoes, tea/coffee). One of the best parts was the staff. The ladies running the desk all spoke English and were INVALUABLE for us in figuring out were to go and what places were good, etc. They helped us order pizza and get a cab to go home. They were great. We thought this hotel was great for the price and really enjoyed our selves.

Armazi Palace has a few advantages- but I believe that the girl working at the reception is the crucial one. Without her I believe that my opinion of this hotel would be much worser. Let start some basic info. Don't believe to the webpage of Armazi- unfortunatelly this hotel doesn't look as good as o the pictures published there...Rooms are spacious and clean-but you can find there many minor disfunctions- like broken mirrors in the bathroom or shower putting the water everywhere except of the proper way). There is no lift-it might be a serious disadvantage especially for the guests of the last floor (by the way watch your step on the stairs- some steps has completely different hight). For more than 50 USD per night you have satellite tv (with all channels from the Hotbird), aircon working so-so, wi-fi (beware not in range in the all rooms on the highest floor. You have also a very good location- on the "opposite" bank of the river but very close to the old town.
