Stayed two nights, small room with all the basics required. Very clean, quiet, friendly and helpful staff. Located close to city centre. Breakfast not included - continental breakfast 5000Kyat. We walked around the corner to the Central Hotel where we had a hearty buffet breakfast for 3000Kyat. Sheets very slippery, safety deposit box however it wasn't secured and could easily of been carried off. Overall good value for money, pleasant stay.

Hotel is in a very good location in a very central area, although with traffic in Yangon these days I'm undecided about whether it's a good thing to be in city center. Brand new, so everything is clean and new. Showers are an adequate size, small working desk in my room too, and I get a great view of the sunrise. Why am I up at sunrise, you say? Well cos the curtains don't keep the sun out very well. Also a fair bit of drilling going on at the construction just opposite most of the day. Nice beds, but the sheets are strangely synthetic. Think it's polyester. They try hard with breakfast too, giving you everything from the exotic Asian classic of baked beans out of a can, to fried veggies, to fruit. But you'd probably be better off going down (towards Traders) the street, and around the left to the tea house that sells a mean bowl of mohinga for brekkie. Cab from hotel to Shwedagon Pagoda is about 2000-3000 MYK. Speaking of which, if your cabbie can't understand the hotel card, just tell him Traders Hotel, cos it's an easy, safe walk back from that. All in all, with the rates for Yangon hotels these days, I think it's a pretty good deal especially if you want to stay in the city.

The room is clean, staff very accommodating, Wifi is not working properly, Secured hotel with security guard per floor.

It is safe to buy the local currency in the hotel rather than you do it outside.

Airport Pick up -Car is so old that it's scary to touch the car.. :)

Stayed for 3 nights from 22 Oct. Did not encounter any construction work within the hotel. Excellent location (behind Trader's Hotel and Central Hotel, on a busy street but too noisy to disturb sleep) and friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Stayed in room 401 - blocked partially by Trader's but got a nice view of the skyline, not noisy.

Room Tip: Room 401 is at one end of the hotel, the rest of the rooms are blocked by Trader's Hotel.

Had to change to clover city centre hotel after I changed dates and couldn't get the new dates at east hotel. Well, clover city centre delivered. As a brand new hotel, expect some works that are still going on things nothing loud or intrusive. The best part of this hotel thiugh is its fabulous location. Just a turn away from Scott market and a short walk to sule paya. Even the train station is a 10 minute walk away.

Excellent staff who are all eager to be of service, as you would find in most of myanmar.

I paid $80 for a single room, reasonable considering that Yangon hotel prices are going up fast. It's in a good position close to the Schwedagon and a short walk to a beautiful lake and several restaurants such as the BangkokKitchen. But I didn't like my room, it smelled of damp, there was a noisy motor outside my window and the tiled floors make it very noisy with people walking around and the staff yelling to each other. However, the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. They have free computers in the lobby and the connection is fast. Breakfast was passable.
