“Expensive for Rangoon. Gelato is mindblowing.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

Went here on more than one occasion. Whilst it is very expensive for what it is and where it is, there is no denying the quality of the food. The home-made coconut ice cream was a firm favourite among our friends.

“Shockingly good pizza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

Okay, we came to Myanmar. Had one of the best pizzas ever.

Besides that, as that would be a rather short review. This is a very unexpected find in Yangon as the whole set up brings you back to Switzerland. The owner apparently lived in Switzerland for awhile, learnt how to do all your Swiss cheese and the likes and set up shop back here. Thus explaining the volume of expats within the restaurant.

Oh yes. Really good ice cream too.

“Still bowled over”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

Local artisanal products prepared in European fashion. It's not a restaurant, more a deli with lounge seating upstairs. So well worth supporting, especially for expats. But tourists, go to the local eateries to experience traditional Myanmar/Burmese fare first! Then for a break, Sharky's is a great choice. We especially liked the washed rind cows' milk pavee, but local goat cheeses seriously wanting. Love the fleur de sel, and the pizzas very good. Cured meats worth sampling, especially smoked butterfish. And without doubt, Sharky's produces the country's best breads. It ain't cheap, but not so expensive by European standards, either. So give it a go -- but only after tired of eating local Asian. After all, that's why you are travelling to this part of the world isn't it? To experience authentic flavours. Globetrotting Gourmet.

“The best bread in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

Worth a special trip to buy multi-grain bread and stick it in the freezer. Lunch upstairs is a nice change from curry, good thin crust though the pizzas were not Italian toppings really.
