“Breathtaking!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2015 NEW via mobile

Visited the cascade waterfall yesterday OMG, there are no other words other than breathtaking! It's a great walk, good excercise, plenty to see on the way up, the walk takes about 15 minutes, but if you are a picture buff, it will take longer because there is so much to see! Perfect location for the budding photographer! Allow a few hours to take it all in! Well worth the visit!

“A wondrous cascade and lots of fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2015 NEW

Who doesn't love a good waterfall and this one certainly lived up to all my expectations; it was powerful, musical and provided lots of lovely swimming opportunities. The hot walk to the waterfall, although uphill, was easy enough. Don't stop there though, it's time then to take off your shoes and put on your swimmers for the last leg of the climb holding onto a rope while you climb through the cascading water to the base of the waterfall. Believe me you can't stand under this waterfall; the force alone almost knocks you off your feet but you can dive from the platform into the waterhole and the water is magical. The best way to get to Mele Cascades is to arrange a driver to make sure that you have enough time to swim - many of the tours don't provide this. Definitely a waterfall to remember.

its amazing what a cyclone can do not as green but is still spectacular, nothing beats the sound of nature in its prime

“Beautiful.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2015

We were there before the cyclone and it was "Beautiful" and worth the visit. It can get quite busy with tourists, but it's still worth it. There are some local young men that help if needed. Bring your swim gear as well as shoes that can get wet. Our resort had reef shoes that we borrowed.
