Just returned from another trip to Vanuatu, and I am very glad to find out that Coconut Palms Resort finally has a review page for its restaurant.
Every time I visit Vanuatu don't leave with out having at least one meal here.
Since my last trip they have extended the outdoor seating area which is nested out by the pool and garden area, it’s a really area nice and tranquil atmosphere. Whilst you may not be looking out on the harbor, this place is like a little oasis, especially in the evening when all the candles and lanterns are lit up. The Hotel seems to have a different event on every night of the week so there is always something interesting going on, I was lucky enough to see the fire show after my meal which was really amazing.
The restaurants menu is complete with pizzas, pastas, items from the grill and also a new Tapas menu which include some Traditional Vanuatu dishes as well as some Western fusion type ones which all looked delicious, I only had one of the sweet tapas, which was a great way to finish off the meal.
I also have to mention the Melanesian Feast I have attended in previous years, which I must say was a real pleasurable evening. In addition to the amazing Melanesian banquet it also included Traditional Custom Dance and a live food cooking display.
All the staff are super friendly, helpful, and very attentive. I highly recommended 'Navara Restaurant' at Coconut Palms Resort. I know I will be back.
