I spent the afternoon at Iririki Island on 12 January 2013.
We caught the ferry to Iririki from the Wharf at the front of the Grand Casino. The ferry cost 1,500 vatu, and this went towards our lunch credit at the Island.
After swimming in the main pool area and ordering lunch from here (fish and chips, club sandwich and two cokes only cost us 900 vatu after deducting out 3,000 vatu credit). The food and the service was absolutely fantastic.
Then we went down to the Jetski Hire (Joe's) where we had a booking. The Jetski tour and the guide were fantastic. Joe was also there to handle any issues. The Jetski are really high quality and the staff are all fabulous.
After the Jetski tour we then snorkelled on the ferry side of the Island and took a Kayak out. Afterwards while sitting on the beach, the Jetski guide and anther resort worker came and knocked some coconuts down (including one for us) and opened it and allowed us to drink from it! They also spoke to us about their lifestyle and Port Vila.
We had a fantastic day and would love to go back to stay. We were made feel very welcome.
The ferry goes back and forth all day! Watch out for the dugong!!!
