After zip lining a walk through the gardens and lunch at the Summit made for an enjoyable and relaxed day even though there were showers of rain. Great to see a truly local enterprise which can assist local families who have pride in their work. Coming from a cool climate it was wonderful to see the variety of tropical plant and the great layout of the gardens.

“Relaxing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2013

Everything in vanuatu is 2000 vatu. If it is less they don't have change so,you end up paying 2000 vatu anyway. The summit is full of very nice people zip lining is very expensive $105 per person.

Hi speedymary6,
The admission fee into the gardens is 2000Vatu but it is obvious that you did not go into the gardens and not everything in Vanuatu is 2000Vatu so I am not quite sure what your point is. You would have loved the gardens if you went on a tour as you would have seen a variety of tropical plants but also the view is stunning. Visitors that have walked through the gardens would agree with me that it is worth the 2000Vatu admission fee as a lot of work have been done to create the gardens and at the same time you get to enjoy a spectacular view. You mentioned about the zipline which is located at The Summit but operated by a different owner. It would have been more pleasant if you commented about the zipline on their Trip Advisor page rather than ours. Thank you for visiting The Summit and hope you can come back again to do the garden tour.

“Relaxing walk through the gardens.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2013

The gardens are interesting and very well maintained. There are a large number of different plants to look at. The Cafe was a nice relief at the end to cool off with an icy cold drink. We had a great pizza for lunch which was the best pizza I had in Vanuatu.

Hi missdoo01,
We receive great reviews from visitors about the gardens which we are always pleased to hear so thank you for your lovely comment. The way the tour is set out is first look at the distillery where all the manufacturing occurs then taking a guided tour through the gardens and see some of the plants used in the products lastly ending the tour at the café/shop for food, drinks and purchasing of products. You are amongst the many that have commented about the best pizza made at The Summit Café, the café team would be delighted when they hear your comment. Will pass it on to them.
