A friend and I stopped by for lunch and I both had chicken though cooked differently and we both felt it was very good. They provided a number of sides including a couple of types of Kim Chee, some stir fried green veggies, some sprouts and some shredded Chinese radish. The restaurant is basic in terms of tables and chairs but fine for lunch. Staff was attentive, service was fast and there was no problem with their meeting our low carb diet needs (no rice, bread, etc.). If you like Korean food and understand what real Korean food tastes like, the restaurant should be fine for you. If you are used to oriental food modified to fit the typical Western palate (as often the case in the US, NZ, Australia, etc.) then you may be surprised or even put off by the often stronger and different real Korean flavors but if you know and like Korean style food, that is what we found at the Frangipani.
