“historic reminder”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

This is the site where Lieutenant (later Captain) James Cook first set foot on Tongan soil. The place has a historic marker, a view deck platform and a handicraft centre. There is not much to see except the body of water and vegetation within the landing site and across. It is just a simple reminder that at one time Captain Cook also dropped by the place.
