The architecture of the place is incredible and impressive - I would even compare it to the Sydney Opera House.
You need at least 2 hours to discover this place. Entrance is 500 xfp ($5). The architecture is stunning but the art and the expos in it are not as impressive and you will find items from Australia (aboriginal art), NZ, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea...
The mini botanical garden is really well set out and very educational: heaps of information about all the plants and how they are used in the Melanesian culture.
One piece of advice if you go there by public transport (bus #40) do not rely on the timetable that are on the bus stop as they are completely outdated, use the ones on the flyer at reception or you could be in to wait for 45 minutes to an hour.
