“It's a garden”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012

This Palmtree garden is part of our heritage and we are trying very hard to keep it. It's nice to relax in the garden during the day, but be ware when it gets dark. If I'm not mistaken it used to be part of the Presidential Palace garden at least part of it.

The Palmentuin is a garden in the city center, opposite the presidential residence. Many palm trees and a quit place to make a short walk.

“Peaceful atmosphere.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

During the day the atmosphere can be very peaceful, the verticality of the trees is mind resting. Sitting on a bench was once agreeable. Of course one does not want to be annoyed by worrysome intruders. I would not go there at night. By the way it may close then. On one side you can see the presidential palace.

Nice place for a stroll, huge palm trees next to the city center, free entrance. Good to visit on a city stroll
