Fulanos it's your best choice to stay in Bogotá for sure. We've been 2 times in bogotá during our stay in Colombia. The first time we stayed in "La Candelaria" but we didn't like it that much, and a colombian friend suggested us to stay in Fulanos (in chapinero) and it was the best choice ever.
Not only it's a really cool hostel, with clean bedrooms and bathrooms, but it also has a great "looby" with a pool table, a great cinema room and a nice bar spot. People working there are really cool and helpfull with instructions and stuff.
FOR SURE STAY IN FULANOS! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!!!

This place had been recommended by 4 different travellers who we met in different places on the way and it didn't let us down.

We were tired from a 38 hour bus ride (many hours delayed!!), it was pouring down rain and we were ready for our bed. Once arrived at the hostel the staff went 'ooooohh we have been waiting for you all afternoon'. Staff is fantastic, they knew you straight away by name, made everyone feel welcome, knew a lot about the city and surroundings! Special thank you goes out to Andres, you were super helpful :)

The beds are comfy, there is enough space to put your bags (the lockers are massive and would fit your entire backpack and daypack).

Great bar with food not too expensive, kitchen is one of the bigger kitchens we have seen during our 8-months backpacking, breakfast is standard with eggs (nice enough) and there are lots of chill-out areas.

Wifi worked in our room too which is good for a change. The bathrooms were clean & there were LOADS of them which is a plus.

The only thing I would note is that it would be nice if you could bring a bottle of wine or a few beers whilst cooking dinner, not having to order this from the bar. But having said that, it didn't put us off staying here.

Fulano promised so much. On arrival appearance is fantastic, staff friendly enough. Private room was ok, very small but served a purpose. So that's the good stuff. Wifi was horrible, prices in the bar were too expensive and it seems as though they want your money rather than helping the traveler. Sorry I don't like pasting places but left disappointed which I wanted to share.

Dear travelers, our privates room have 20 Mts2. without the bathroom are, then we have an extra private room with two single beds without bathroom inside in a 10Mts2 area.

We apologize for our WiFi service, which are not the best in peak hours, but you can join for free the few desktop. We are working to get better WiFi.

We have a nice real-bar in the hostel, which is uncommon in the hostels in Bogota, bar has different products, different brands where you can find cheap and premium brands with normal prices and even cheaper if you compare the bar that we offer, the atmosphere, the products and the prices with the bars that you can find in the area.

Finally, we always help our guests to have a nice stay, giving information (free maps), staff is highly trained to tourist recommendations, where you can find five language employee speakers, (spanish, english, french, portuguese and italian)

Thank you for your time!

This place was a pleasant surprise! The location is really good and safe, with some good options for food and nightlife around. It's a bit far from the center, but it's worth paying the cheap taxis to go there. The hostel itself is very nice, it's easy to notice that all details are taken care off, including decoration and design. The private room we stayed in was great, they don't have lots of stuff in them but that is good 'cause it leaves good space for the bags. The only inconvenience we had was that we didn't have hot water for 2 days, hence the 4 stars in the review. I only had contact with one of the owners, Gabriel, who was very polite about the hot water issue. When the hot water was reestablished, our stay was a bliss. It's not a very social or a party hostel. The breakfast was the weakest part, they don't even provide butter for the toasts. The majority of the staff is quite young and they were a bit "uninterested" and didn't make a huge effort to help out, but they helped a bit nevertheless. Overall I'd recommend and stay here again.

Room Tip: The difference between the private rooms are with or without "mountain view" but that make...

Everything brand new. Thoroughly thought through setup and interior design. Many bathrooms. Spectacular kitchen. Run by 3 enthusiastic Italians. Located 1 block from a good supermarket and about 10mins walk from the Zona Rosa. Highly recommended.

We attended Thursday night to a Rock & Blues presentation done by some friends of mine.
We (my wife & me) can assure you that the place overflows with good energy. Young people (22 - 26 years old) & tourists from several countries, enjoying a good moment of good music in an splendid nice place.
Cleanliness is SUPERB. Kindness is outstanding. Security is superb.
We didn't stay the night in the hotel so we can't tell you about rooms, but I can tell you that atmosphere (leadered by owners) is nice.
THE HOTEL is located in a very SAFE place (I was born in Bogota & I know the citie) and it is close to several good places. It is located in a middle spot in Bogota so you can go everywhere with relative not long rides.
