“Gorgeous rooms, but not that close to the main attractions and the laziest check out ever!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

This hotel is far from the old center and not that close to the best night scene of Bogota (the rose, "G" zone)... beacause it is a 20 minutes (10 blocks) and so, at night, it is better to grab a cab (15,000 pesos each way).

But its facilietes are modern, the cleanliness was perfect and the rooms, as well as the common areas such as lobby, are nicely decorated (I could say our room was pretty luxury). Other positive aspect is the good restaurant, that serves good food at fair prices (jthe attention is a bit lazy) and disposes an excellent breakfast in the morning.

We had a pretty fast check in with the young ladies during the day... but the man in charge at the earlier hours of the morning simply drove us crazy with such a lazy procedure that we have never experienced anywhere.

We stayed here for three nights for an event. We enjoyed our stay very muchom and the food was really good, though it was on the expensive side. The only bad thing is taht every morning, while showering, the water turned really cold. I guess it's time to buy a new water heating system. It is not fun to suddenly get a cold shower in such a cold city as Bogotá.

Room Tip: Choose a room facing the back of the hotel and on a high floor

I stayed here for 1 week, the fruit at breakfast is good rest is just below standard, for example in the orange juice you can taste a little flavor of starting fermentation. The croissant are ok, but the bread is just dry on the edges, the cheese has changed color because of the xposure to light.. Etc etc.
Dinner is based on seafood, but the absence of people in the evening says it all

We did an event for 3 days and stayed in this hotel, but we had too many problems.
1. Our room key failed 7 times within 4 days. Every time we complained, they gave us ridiculous excuses without apology but it didn't work from the time we'd just checked in! We were so tired from having arrived past midnight and it was so frustrating not to be able to enter the room.
2. One day water in the bathroom suddenly turned yellow. We complained and nobody came to check until we asked the second time.
3. The first room we stayed at was facing to the road and the noise was horrible! There is no way to sleep without ear plugs. Even with ear plugs I woke up a few times. After 6:00am the traffic starts and the noise was like sleeping on a street! We asked to change and we only managed to move to another room on the last night. Not to mention the poor selection of breakfast for vegans. Never stay in this hotel again!

This a nice hotel in Bogotá's financial area, so is close to everything. The rooms are ok, with good space and comfortable areas. The restaurant menu is based on seafood cuisine and is delicious. It was a good experience.

There is no "wow" factor here. This is just a good, solid ,dependable business hotel in the northern section of Bogota. The hotel is immaculately clean. Rooms are decently large. Beds are comfortable. The gym is OK, but should not be mistaken for a well-stocked health club. The wi-fi is generally very good, although it occasionally did not make it up to my room. For those of us with very limited Spanish, the hotel employs sufficient staff to assist us English-only types. And the staff are friendly and professional. The hotel restaurant serves up an OK breakfast buffet, but it is actually an excellent option for dinner. For tourists, the location is not especially convenient to, nor is it far removed from, the tourist zones to the south, or the nightlife and restaurant zones to the north. However, the hotel has a fleet of cheap and convenient taxis (which can be billed to your room!) at the ready. The surrounding neighborhood is perfectly nice and safe during the day, but empty at night. (That's not to say it's a bad or dangerous "empty"; it's just empty.)
