“Great location but not worth the price”

This was a very nice hotel but way overpriced for what it had to offer. Great location though, near shopping centers, Zona T and nice Bogota neighborhoods.

This is a nice hotel. Clean, well maintained. It is a bit quirky, both in style and layout. Because it is in a residential area, it is easy to lose the tourist feeling pretty quickly. The location seemed quite safe and it was easy to walk to great restaurants nearby, even quite late. Breakfast at the hotel was included in the price, but it was a bit underwhelming.

It was at the end the most horrible hotel in my whole life!. I stayed there for two nights beginning of the third week of November 2010. So far it was "more or less" okay. After my trip to Barranquilla and Medellin I came back for another two nights to this hotel. But I was told that they will not offer a room because I had no reservation...?! One day later they apologized via our Colombian business partners by saying that "of course" I had a reservation, but their "computer system" didn´t work properly...?!! I had to stay in another prison like hotel for a night where it was very cold with even cold water and horrible breakfast. The hotel director of Porton Bogota did not even send an apology letter until yet to me. Stay away from this hotel if you are a serious businessman or if you really want to leave Bogota with a good impression!!!

We had two reservations for the same week, as we were arrived in Bogota, traveled to other cities and came back to Bogota. The first reservation was fufilled as reserved but, upon returning in the middle of the week, we were informed that they were not finding our reservations and there was no room available. They also had problems in charging a chip-type credit card. The hotel location, as well as the rooms were very good, but the SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE. They finally found another place for us to stay but with a much lower quality. THE MANAGER COULD NOT BE FOUND AND DID NOT EVEN BOTHER TO TALK TO US TO EXPLAIN THE PROBLEM. It was a complete lack of respect and I do not recommend anyone to go there as might have to run at the middle of the night for another hotel.

This hotel is a great choice. The weekend rates are excellent. It's a business type hotel that seems to be fully booked during the week but rather empty on weekends.

It's located in a residential area with good restaurants and shops within walking distance.

The service is excellent. The front desk is really helpful with your needs.

The hotel has a decent gym and a good steam room.

The room are spacious and with all the necessary things to make your stay unforgettable.

Do not have any doubts about staying here!

We had a great stay at the Porton Hotel. The sorrounding area is very special as you can get everything form there but staying in a very quiet place. Amazing.
Loved the great service and dedication of all the staff during the whole stay.
Rooms are spacious and cleaned.
I strongly recommend this Hotel when travelling to Bogota.
