Many times I had been thinking at staying in this hotel and finally did! It is in the right area of Bogota, safe and plenty of restaurants all around.
The hotel has the old style charm I was expecting, beautiful huge room and even better bathroom with high quality towels and amenities.
Very good breakfast served a la carte with a wide choice of food (no ham in the menu but I didn't ask)
Wifi in my room was performing well.
Few things keep it far from perfection:
room was very cold, there is a fireplace that matches the style of the room but it's not the most convenient solution if you arrive late and need to call somebody to light it. As a consequence bathroom also was very cold. Another type of heating is necessary, at least for the bathroom.
No courtesy water in the room, even the small bottles spread around had a price. Given the rates of the hotel at least 1 bottle of water should be offered.
Staff is very kind but sometimes overlooking details.
Overall a nice experience
