5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

You expect an very nice hotel at these rates and that is what you get. The staff is very friendly and the accommodations are excellent. My only complaint is the internet is very slow when downloading.

Room Tip: located in the north part of town just a few minutes away from Unicentro Centro Comercial.

Hi there,

Thank you very much for your feedback. We really appreciate it. We do have wireless and cable internet from each room; sometimes the download process is faster if you use the cable connection instead.

Hope to have the opportunity to host your stay in the near future.

Kind Regards,

The Radisson is a great hotel choice for the business traveller. We got a good deal on a weekend rate ($130US for a Saturday night). This is a lovely safe location with the cyclovia going by (you must try this), and 2 shopping malls within walking distance. I have never felt safer as the hotel is patrolled day and night by security.
Rooms are spacious with high ceilings. Decor is comtemporary, with a marble bathroom. There is a spa but it's pricey by Colombian standards.
The breakfast is truly a delight - a huge choice of made to order food is offered on the outside terrace.
Service was spotty. There were 2 weddings taking place in the hotel that weekend and staff were pre-occupied serving them.

Was here for business, and the location was very, very convenient, there is a nice shopping center within walking distance (Hacienda Santa Barbara), and also malls and supermarkets. Main avenues nearby, make transit easy. Incredibly, an old fashioned train passes just in front of the hotel, which gives a very nice south american feel to it!

The rooms are ample, clean, with very comfortable beds. Internet access is good (you pay extra for that), and you can sit in front of the window and enjoy a beautiful sunrise with nothing obstructing sight. Security in the area is tight, with lots of guards in the plazas and in front of the hotel, which they tell me is a very safe area of Bogotá. The World Trade Center is right across the street, which is extremely convenient.

Restaurant has nice but not great food, and even typical meals (like arepas) aren't too tasty when compared to their 'street' versions. Staff is very helpful and friendly, and you can exhange currency in the hotel (Colombia uses Pesos). Also, it has an incredible pool area, located in the mezannine.

Pricing is within this hotel's category (seemed to me that Bogotá is a very expensive city overall), and the value of what you get is worth it. Excellent for business travelers and for family trips due to the safety, location, amenities and views from the rooms.

Room Tip: All rooms have a good sight. Upper floors let you see farther over colorful Bogotá.

The courteous people at the front desk , make from the start a good impression of the Hotel.
My impression is that the rooms lack adequate lighting in all the areas, and some of the furniture seem to be old.
In general terms for business traveler it is a good hotel, and staff are very cooperating with you that makes a plus for me.

Room Tip: Please tell them to be over the 5th floor at least.

Good location if you need to be on the north side of town. Hacienda Santa Barbara is a short walk away with excellent shopping and restaurants/bars. Rooms are decent - bed is good and bathroom as well. Other details showed some wear and tear - the chair for the desk felt like it was on its last legs. Staff were very nice, but it was definitelly helpful to speak some Spanish. Breakfast was good with nice staff - one guy was a jerk until I switched to Spanish - but again, everyone else was good.

This hotel is one of the best Radisson hotels in Latin America, with two restaurants and a nice facilities such as a bar, pool, gym and even spa. Located in the heart of Bogota's Financial district, this Radisson Hotel is the ideal for business. It is also located in a walking distance to the Usaquen restaurant area where you will find some of the best restarants in Botoga; in a 10 min drive far from the Bogota's Zona Rosa, and behind of Santa Ana Mall which holds many upscale stores, everything in Usaquen Area. The breakfast buffet is good, in the average of most of the Latin America restaurants, and the lobby bar is serviced by two nice and courteous Colombian waitress. This is the choice for business travelers in Bogota.
