Was here for business, and the location was very, very convenient, there is a nice shopping center within walking distance (Hacienda Santa Barbara), and also malls and supermarkets. Main avenues nearby, make transit easy. Incredibly, an old fashioned train passes just in front of the hotel, which gives a very nice south american feel to it!
The rooms are ample, clean, with very comfortable beds. Internet access is good (you pay extra for that), and you can sit in front of the window and enjoy a beautiful sunrise with nothing obstructing sight. Security in the area is tight, with lots of guards in the plazas and in front of the hotel, which they tell me is a very safe area of Bogotá. The World Trade Center is right across the street, which is extremely convenient.
Restaurant has nice but not great food, and even typical meals (like arepas) aren't too tasty when compared to their 'street' versions. Staff is very helpful and friendly, and you can exhange currency in the hotel (Colombia uses Pesos). Also, it has an incredible pool area, located in the mezannine.
Pricing is within this hotel's category (seemed to me that Bogotá is a very expensive city overall), and the value of what you get is worth it. Excellent for business travelers and for family trips due to the safety, location, amenities and views from the rooms.
All rooms have a good sight. Upper floors let you see farther over colorful Bogotá.
