“Too much mariache music”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2009

The Hotel Cosmos was a very nice hotel and equalled any **** hotel in the US. The only issues I had were that the restaurant had a mariache band playing each night and the brass instruments made speaking anywhere in the lobby area / bar area or restaurant virtually impossible.

The room was large, very clean and it had one of the best beds I've slept in. I would certainly stay there again.

Overall, I believe the customer service at hotels in Colombia is top notch when compared to the U.S. No different here at the Cosmos 100. Excellent front desk staff, good room service, convenient location and good security without being in your face. If you are to stay at the Cosmos, make sure to stay in the newer towers. The newer towers rooms are much nicer, a bit modern, but with all the creature comforts.
I've stayed at the Cosmos 2 times and am very pleased with it. I would give it a 8 out of 10...wish it had a bit more "night life" as the lounges and bars inside the hotel are vacant, but if you are looking for a good location, comfortable room and want to be treated well, I would recommend the Cosmos.

Good hotel and service. I stayed at the C tower, on a very nice superior suite with 2 rooms and 3 beds. The showers were really nice and clean. Very clean. Maids are very nice too. The rooms are not very spacious, but for the price I paid, excellent. I was able to share the suite with two friends, and we split the bill. As a result we paid less for an excellent suite, on the business tower (new tower), that I had to paid for smallest room in an old tower. The suite had all the amenities and privacy for all of us (each of us had her own bed, closets, robes and safe). Breakfast was included on the price, and was EXCELLENT!!!, fresh fruit, good omelets, juices and coffee !!!!!. They also have a Japanese restaurant at the second floor of tower C, sushi was ok, but all the other dishes we order were very good and the portions were very good too.
The only down side was a convention and parties that were going on at the same time that we were there, we almost had to call the front desk because the noise was very loud specially for night time. But they finish the party and conference around 11:00pm. A lot of people during the day, visiting the hotel, that did no belong on the hotel, because of the conference, and since the halls are small that was uncomfortable.
Overall I would give them an A-. Nice, but they can do better.

If you're staying here try to get a room in the New Tower. The other rooms are fine, but in the new tower they are excellent!

A quiet business hotel with a nice bar, and excellent jazz combo playing in the evenings. The main hotel restaurant is limited to buffet meals, but the quality and selection available is good. There is an oriental restaurant in the new tower, a bit pricey, but very good.

Security is excellent, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I stayed here for 4 days on a business trip. The rooms were clean but sparse. The hotel has a OK resturant, which is good since there are no other resturants within a short walk. The hotel is located about a km from the Zona Tee where all of the hot resturants/clubs are located. The staff was friendly and attentive.
