Located just at the end of the cruise liners arrival peer, Artico is a self service restaurant. Hence the food quality suffers, if your nice scampi have been sitting on a hot tray for 20 minutes by the time you get to it. Same goes for all items: overheated, overcooked.
During the summer months, thousands of people descend from cruiseship and inevitable some end up eating right by the peer at Articos, making the place very crowded. There are much better options for seaview eating in Punta del Este, where your cod has not been boiling for 30 minutes waiting for you to self-servicingly rescue it from death by overcooking. Good for kids, I would imagine.
