While Montevideo is a bustling city, this coast side scene of one of the most famous battles of World War II, is the play land of the rich and famous. Lovely marina where one can take a "pass agatta" watching the passing parade and elegant high rise buildings overlooking the seaport, define this city. New developments are springing up everywhere and foreign investors are building and investing more and more. The contrast from Montevideo was striking and well worth the time to visit.
