Our first night in Punte the hotel recommended this restaurant. We got a little lost getting there and arrived very late for our reservation. The hosts were lovely and sat us within 15 minutes, despite it being very crowded. There were mostly locals, or at least people who always vacation in Punte, at the restaurant. All nine people in our party thought the food was excellent; Lo de Tere serves typical South American fare: shrimp, beef, etc. However, the shrimp appetizer that came in a cast iron grill pot was seriously the best shrimp we ever had. Everyone agreed it was fantastic. Yum-yum.
