After reading in a local blog about how great this restaurant was, I decided to have a romantic dinner with my husband there. We picked at table in the terrace, very intimidate and far from the main door, we wanted to enjoy the amazing view and be away from noise. We placed our order, my husband had lentil soup, without much taste, and I ordered an award winner fish considered the "best local products award winner of 2013." The fish was very salty and the mashed sweet potato had no taste, very disappointed in general. Then in the middle of our dinner just to make our experience worse, we had a group of children running around our table, even though our table was far from the others, the kids did not respect our privacy neither their parents and restaurant management did nothing to put stop to this incident that happened three times during our dinner. So much for trying to enjoy our romantic dinner with screaming children running all over the place, I got up from the table and complaint to management who in a way did not know what to do to help us, I said just put a stop to this, this is insane. I will not recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good meal, it was not just the kids experience, but the food was bad to my standards and the prices are high for the quality of the meal you get. There is an expression that says: "No everything that shines is gold." That is how I will describe this restaurant, pretty décor, nice atmosphere, good service, but the most important element of any good restaurant is the food, and in this case the food was prepared very poorly, lack of taste, I am sorry, but you need to hire new chefs. 18 Degrees a total disappointment! I guess you cannot believe everything you read in food blogs.
