“Top hotel”

What a great hotel with top service , food is spot on and I had to have 2nds on the deserts ! . Rooms are good with walk in showers . Bar prices are high but that's the case anywhere here , best go in happy hour and buy 1 and get 1 free . There is a free shuttle bus that takes you around the island .

Room Tip: aircraft noise on side facing race track so would stay on the other side if a light sleeper . Go to...

Regarding your room tip, yes unfortunately the hotel faces the direct flight path of the airplanes which can be noisy at peak hours, luckily we have the other side of the hotel where our guests will not be disturbed at all.

I recently stayed at this hotel with two friends. It was very clean, very luxurious and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were spotless and the buffet breakfast and dinner had a good mix of tasty food. My tip would be to ask for a room facing the circuit as you also have a lovely view of the pool. You can hop on a bus tour from just outside and there is also a taxi rank. It takes about 20-30mins to get into the city centre.

Room Tip: If you like Formula 1 then as for a room facing the circuit. Every day they have drivers practicing...

The service is really very slow and bad and it seems that they don't like any clients.
We were waiting 20 min just to be given the menu and have asked 5 times to bring it to us! So I don't know for the food but we really upset for service. Even it was very cold outside and they didn't switch on any heaters.

My wife and I chose to escape the UK bad weather with a X-mas day flight to Abu Dhabi for a week, staying at the Yas Rotana. I couldn't praise this hotel more, wonderful clean room with a balcony view over the circuit, the best, most comfortable hotel bed I've EVER slept on (and there have been some horrors in the past!) plus friendly and helpful staff. The gym and spa facility is great and the pool is warm, clean and attended. The only minor complaint were the food prices in the restaurants were high but eating in a 4* hotel is never going to be cheap. Travellers on a budget do have to travel to elsewhere for food. The Al Raha mall is about a 20dh taxi ride away (£4) where there is a small but nice food court and a Lulu supermarket. Ikea (beyond Ferrariworld) do cheap food and in March '14 the Yas Mall will open offering many more opportunities. Overall a 5* stay and we would happily return.

The hotel is super. Specially the restaurant choices. Vipin and Binoy treat you like a King.the bufet is fantastic.the hotel is close to a nice beach and ferari park also is around the corner.
The swimming pool is nice too. Also can use the pool of the neighbour hotel centro.

Total disaster!!! From first second in hotel start problems. We arrived at 3am and we get wrong room. We spend more than 1h only to get non smoking room, extra bed and towels and i even don’t talk about bathrobes and sleepers which i didn’t get.
All my staying time, every day i ask for adapter and i get it only in last evening(thanks for God).
Don’t even think to have New Year in this hotel because if you will finish in hospital you can’t come back in to hotel because 4* hotel can’t provide taxi ......If you want to see most dusty room please come to Rotana Yas !
Anything you ask (plaster, adapter, taxy, first aid, information about rental car companies....) you get only one answer SORRY MAM BUT WE CANT PROVIDE THIS SERVICE.

We spent 6 nights at the Rotana at the end of December. We found the staff here to be exceptional, particularly the wait staff at breakfast and the housekeeping staff on our floor. Their friendliness and efficiency really made our stay a pleasant one. We booked a premium suite since the price was right, and found it very spacious and equipped with everything we could have needed. The location of the hotel makes it convenient for Yas Island attractions but feels remote if you need personal items or groceries. However, once the mall is completed this will not be an issue. My only complaint would be the noise from planes flying by. We were facing the F1 track and it felt (and sounded) as though we were on the runway. I would recommend a room on the other side of the hotel.
