Stayed here for a couple of days on Business and loved it. It's located close in to the City which was one of the main reasons I choose it, Taxis are very cheap in AD, so getting anywhere central was less than $5. My first visit to Abu Dhabi.
Good location, very quiet
Very polished and smart hotel
Large well fitted bedrooms/bathrooms
Wonderful staff ( thought I leff my swimming kit behind, emailed and got a positive response within 4 hours)
A very good breakfast offering (I didn't try the lunch or evening dining offerings)
Great leisure facilities, super spa, tennis, gym etc
Lovely city beach and outdoor pool area
When I was there the hotel was very busy with tourists, so I felt a little out of place in a suit) Not a real issue, + the tourists seemed very chilled
Hotel is dry (serves no alcohol) so if you fancy a cold one or a cocktail, you have to trek 10 mins to the Jumeirah next door, to Ray's Bar on the 62nd floor, but well worth the trek. Prices are very reasonable as well. Also Emirates Place over the road is worth a visit.
In summary lots of positives here, no real negatives
