“No 1 sounds about right”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2009

Stayed at the Four Seasons Doha for a week in Feb with my wife and 5 year old son, absolutely fabulous.
We have stayed in many top notch hotels previously but never have so many staff greeted me by name. Service was impeccable.
Room had great view overlooking the beach, only slight niggle was that our room had an adjoining door to the next room which didn’t seem to block any noise whatsoever so when occupied was like being in the room with them. Luckily it was only occupied for two of the seven nights.
Room was made up twice a day and the toiletries were of high quality.
Location is handy to walk to City Centre Mall as taxis in Doha, particularly around the hotel area, are scarce compared to places like Dubai. Taxis can be booked but only well in advance.
Buffet breakfast was good, restaurants looked good but did not experience.
Kids club was also very good, our son spent an hour or so each day there voluntarily and could have happily stayed longer. Good staff (according to my wife who has managed day nurseries for many years).
Pool and beach were great, again pool staff were very good.
Having not stayed at any of the other Doha hotels I cannot compare but I have no reason to consider staying anywhere else in Doha if I visit again.

From the time we checked in until we checked out we were treated like royalty.
My husband took me here for my big 50! I could not have wished for a better time.
We had a suite with beautiful views of the city and the beach with a balcony to take in the atmosphere.
We ate out most of the time by choice except for the eve of my bithday, when the harpist played and the staff sang 'happy bithday' to me followed by a beautiful cake.l
Around the pool area the staff were so attentive as soon as they saw you coming. They brought an ice box full of bottled water and cold flannels and came around to clean your sunglasses.
The Spa was special I had a wonderful 'anti-ageing facial ( I was asked twice after this if I had had Botox).
My week spent in Doha was very special, very hot mind and over Ramadam but that was ok because in the evening the 'indian food' was the best!
I was very spoilt by my darling husband and spending a week in The Four seasons Doha for my birthday was brilliant.

We Stayed here for the Qatar Master European Golf Event.

The hotel was as good as you would expect from the Four Seasons, wherever you are in the world.

The Spa at this hotel was very good, if not a little expensive. However the exchange rate being so poor everything was expensive so it was not unreasonable to feel this way.

Food was of a high standard.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

The Golf was great, if you ever want to have an upclose and personal experience with some of the best golfers in the world, the Qatar masters is the place to go. Very few people mean that at some points it can be only you and the golfers which means they will actually interact with you if they are in a good mood.
Sunday being a working day also means that the final day is not too busy to see the action the whole way road. A great experience.

This is one of the best hotels in Doha, peaceful and busy at the same time, nice place to stay for all activities...

The Four Seasons Doha is an oasis! Lovely, spacious rooms. Good restaurants and great spa facilities. It's also one of the only places in Doha to buy alcohol. For a Westerner, this might be quite important. The service was top notch and is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The only thing that I can say that was negative was that there isn't much of a view. Doha is rapidly developing and the hotel is in the middle of a lot of construction. Not the most pleasant view. But the hotel can't help this really. Otherwise, a five-star experience!

  • Liked — Fabulous rooms and spa!
  • Disliked — A bit too much construction around.

The comfort and efficiency of this hotel are first class. The food and service are of the highest standards. It is an excellent business location with top class conference facilities. It has nice gardens and swimming pool as well as a fitness and health centre such as I have never experienced - the gym equipment is what you find everywhere, but the changing rooms, showers and toiletries are simply luxurious. Lots of well-trained, helpful staff everywhere. A stay here is truly a five-star experience.

My husband and I have just returned from an 8 night stay at this hotel. We had a premier room on the 16th floor which overlooks the sea and marina. The room was very nicely furnished and had a large bathroom. We did notice however that the carpet had several stains and had been patched next to the bed which is not what one expects from a hotel of this calibre.

There was an excellent choice of food for breakfast to suit all tastes but the cooked food should have been hotter. We were disappointed on our first morning when after we had been seated and had gone to make our selection we came back to find our table had been cleared away! This was rectified immediately but again is not what you expect from a Four Seasons Hotel. We found generally the food to be good and the service excellent but a little overpowering at times.

The one thing we found exceptional was the grounds, pools and beach areas of the hotel. Everything is kept immaculate and the staff excellent.

The hotel is located in the business area of Doha were there is a lot of building work being carried out but none of this affects the hotel in any way.

If you enjoy shopping then the Villagio Mall is worth visiting. Doha itself is very clean and safe and we would recommend visiting for a relaxing break and the Four Seasons is the place to stay.

  • Liked — the pools, beach and outside areas
  • Disliked — overpowering service at times
