Dined alone here on a Tuesday evening.
The place wasn't busy and the service was impeccable. Wasim Akram and I talked at length about India, food and cricket. A fruit cup on the house started a memorable meal.
Gratis coned papads came with onions, mint riata and a hot lime pickle.
Jinga prawns in chili sauce were succulent, juicy with just the right amount of heat and came to the table on a sizzling platter.
Lobster Vindaloo was truly excellent. Very little potato and lots of lobster in very authentic Vindaloo style with vinegar and with more taste then fire; a memorable dish.
I had this with Jeera rice and a couple of lemon juice and mint.
Service from all the staff was was very curteous and perfectly judged.
Total cost was 287 QR or about £45 which is good considering that prawns and lobster are the most expensive dishes on the menu. Other dishes are less expensive and there is a large vegetarian choice.
