The good side: spacious apartment, location quite good (and easy to guide taxis to find).
However, the furniture and equipment is falling apart (someone did tell us that they were going to renew it all soon: not before time), and the management is out of touch with the maintenance and cleaning staff.
So when we arrived, there was no plug on the microwave, the kettle leaked (actually leaked water over the electric connection!), there was just one small frying pan and a desoultry selection of small plates and cutlery (nowhere near enough for four people), one air-conditioner didn't work, three bedside lights didn't work, there were no towels, the coat rack had to be propped up against the wall, the apartment drains smelled, and the standard-lamp shade was falling off! A depressing entry. After about 2 1/2 hours work, most was fixed, but even through the stay other things kept failing and the front desk said "the cleaning / maintenance staff will fix it" but without us pushing, they didn't. The front desk / day manager refused to give any discount. Talking of the front desk, they had no numbers / contacts for tour companies (e.g. for desert tour), and only the number of one taxi company which only had small cars. Such a shame - this could be a great little three-star apartment hotel, but it is running into the ground with disinterested management.
