“Desaster !”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2014

Yes, the large variety of beers is good, but the rest is a desaster. Food, in special the mussels were disgusting, but costing almost EUR 30 per person ! They put few nice ones on the top of the pot, but below this first layer the mussels were definitively not fresh ! The fries were not better, definitively not belgian ! Last but not least, the bad cigarette smell turns the whole experience into a nightmare.

“Terrific selection of Belgian Ale”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2014

The Belgian Cafe is always a nice stop that can get very busy, yet remain a lot of fun with a friendly crowd. The highlight of the Belgian Cafe is a selection of several fine Belgian Ales on tap, including blonde and dark varieties, in addition to some more exotic bottled ales including a sparkling Maredsous for those who are daring.

“One of my favourite places still...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014

Good place to imagine you are outside of Qatar and taking you to a noisy atmosphere of some European bar/pub.
Food has been always consistent in quality, mussels and beef tartar I should admit are the best in the city and my favorite there . Can't say the same about the service at the moment. Since previous manager- Belgian gentleman left-it hasn't changed for a better.
However I would still go there, chef is doing great job, keep it up!

“Good for a change”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2014

Belgian Café, restaurant/pub offers good food and alcohol at rather affordable prices. The atmosphere is mainly relaxed and welcoming, but might get too smoky as the night sets in. Usually filled with foreigners. Heard really good reviews about their mussels and beers!!
