“A Real Masterpiece....It can travel you !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

Villaggio is set within the Aspire Zone. It is designed as an Italian village with gondola rides and visions of blue skies on the ceiling with balcony interior settings.

It is really impressive and we have the feeling that the clouds on the ceiling are moving above our heads as we walk about. It is simply unimaginable -it is like walking in the streets of a town and the stores are designed in a way that they look like real houses with balconies. The colour, the atmosphere, the bridges, the buildings, and the squares throughout this architectural masterpiece setting are something beyond compare.

The Mall is a masterpiece and it is so well organized and architecturally designed in every aspect that has the ability to travel its guests. Before coming here I had seen photos and videos sent to me from my children who temporarily live here but I could not really understand it. You probably not understand it either….but at least I tried to give you the picture and atmosphere of the Mall as better as I could.

The village is home to luxury brand tenants including Dolce & Cabbana, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs and many more.

“A shopping mall with gondoliers!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

If you have been to Vegas and experienced Venezia and Caesar's Palace you might be disappointed. If not then this should offer a pleasant shopping experience.
There are 3 parts to the mall, but all within the same building.

i). Mainstream shopping - Monsoon, TopShop, Banana Republic, Zara ......
ii) There is the very high end, Louis Vuitton, Christian LeBoutin, Tiffany, Laduree patisserie.... (very quiet)
iii) and the entertainment/food hall complete with ice rink, McDonalds and "nice" dine in opportunities (very noisy).

Taxis are available but having been seriously fleeced by a taxi on the way there I can thoroughly recommend the onsite limo service (Fox's I think) where you pay a set fee in advance for a great service.

“This place is big”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

This place has the canal running through it complete with Gondola rides along it. The shopping has a good mix to attract even the least shoppy people if not for anything eals but the attraction including the Theme park at the end.

“small-ish mall”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

its a mall. Theres fast food places and ice rink and a small childs funfair. Not my idea of a cultural experience. However you can ride a boat through the little river. The best thing about this place is the ceiling. I honestly thought we were still outside at first.
If you're looking for an up market mall for some expensive shopping and fast food its the place.

“Europe in Doha!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

When I say Europe, I mean it! The Gondola scene in breathtaking! The Ceiling, pavement & structure is almost Europe! And when we say EUROPE it is EQUIVALENT to SHOPPING which requires MORE MONEY!

The mall itself is lovely & a sure "must visit" here in Doha! Hence, I find it small compare to the other shopping center here in Qatar.

Plus factor: iMax Cinema. Luxury Brands. Heaven murals!

On the other note, it is far from the City proper so prepare for a 20-30 minutes travel.
