“Worth trying”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

A place that you have to try. They have a very big menu that will make you visit them more than once. The crispy tuna dish is a must. It's expensive but worth trying.

“Expensive but the best sushi!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013 via mobile

Excellent maki, the best I've had in Beirut! Kampai offers new flavors the palate has not tasted. The menu offers a lot for even vegetarians. The service was professional. The atmosphere was social, busy, trendy crowd, and noisy so not the best for a romantic dinner. Expect a hefty bill at the end, although worth it!

“Japanese food with Lebanese twist”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

We shared a meal here with some friends, beef was excellent well cooked and tasty, the salads where also very tasty that we end up ordering them twice. There Maki was very well prepared and on top of everything they where combining the Japanese cuisine with some Lebanese cuisine. Atmosphere and service was immaculate.

Of all the sushi places in town except Maki, Kampai is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Beirut. The food, service and interior as well as the atmosphere.
