“Slowfood place in Hamra/Beirut”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

Foods are not so characteristic and authentic, it is healthy; less spicy for the western taste.
the service is a little slow however you can tolarete this since it's a "slow-food" place and the employee make you feel like they are your frineds an serving you just to be kind. They are really cute and friendly.

You can see the posters of underground events in the town and sit on the same table with local intellectuals as well as expats.
It's open in late night. You can also use free-wifi, whic is actually exceptional in Beirut.

“Great for Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

It's been a couple of years since I last had breakfast here, but I wasn't disappointed. Well, I was a bit but overall it was worth the tripette. Having been here before the cost didn't come as a surprise to me, $20 for an omelette, an orange juice and a glass of coffee tends towards being steep. And having gone for the "safe" option of an "american" coffee, I was surprised to be presented with half a glass of black coffee and no milk.

The table was rickety too.

But the surroundings a pleasant enough and the omelette was fabulous. But sort out that coffee!

“Best breakfast in town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

Absolutely best breakfast in town. Their omelets are to die for and the location is perfect for a Sunday brunch followed by some light shopping on Hamra Street. We tried a bunch of other breakfast places, no of them ever came close.

“Good place for Western Breads”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

The bread here is good. They even have a decent bagel. The location on Hamra St. is nice as it is in an Alley off the main street. A good place to sit and relax if you are in Hamra.
