“Ok for the money”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

My reason for travelling to kuwait is to visit ikaros, the old greek ruina on falakia island which i did. The room was good enough and the restaurant and breakfast adequat. But they charge far too much for cabs, and there seem to be a llack of communicaion between the staff. I dont think i will ever return to kuwait again, i have lived in the middle east for two years and i have never met people that unfriendly or plain arrogant. The management of the hotel is indian as most of the wworkers etc.

Just back from Kuwait ... stayed at Oasis Hotel. This hotel is located downtown in the heart of the business district. In the first day, the hotel was a bit put-off with the front desk guy completely confused. But we had checked in late in the night, and this guy was obviously not equipped to handle a group. However, the next day the experience was different ... the breakfast was good, the front desk staff and the Manager Mr. Joseph and his deputy Mr. Victor were very cordial and helpful. The restaurant Tipu Sultan was again great. The owners of Radisson Bl Kuwait and Oasis hotel are the same, and they are embarking on a renovation plan. The location is superb ... hopefully the next time we will have better rooms.

A first class hotel at a very reasonable price. The hotel is much cheaper than ones in the area of a similar standard. It will really suit business travelers anf the Tipu Sultan restaurant is first class

Oasis hotel is located in kuwait city the central banking district of kuwait .

It's a old hotel with average size rooms good enough for a business traveller . But the rooms were smelly because of the carpets

The breakfast was average with some indian and international cuisine

There are near by South Indian restaurant udupi which was helpful .

The tipu sultan restaurant serve good indian food for lunch and dinner

Overall average experience

I stayed at this hotel in February 2013.

Good points: Great staff, free wi-fi throughout the hotel and in an excellent location in the centre of the city. The breakfast buffet was very good with a variety of continental and Indian cuisine available.

Bad points: None

best suited for short trips and business visits. Located in heart of the city. All major business establishments are just a walk away. Good restaurant for Indians. Small and compact, but clean rooms.. value for money.. friendly staff.. good service. offers a good view of Kuwait city from the top floors...
