“Fantastic Service - Great Amenities- Experienced Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2009

The Sheraton Kuwait is an exceptional hotel with outstanding service and years of experience.

Travelling in the Middle East on a weekly basis, efficiency, service and cleanliness is always on the top of my list when I book a hotel - and for sure the Sheraton hits all these marks.

First of all, they have a great visa service where the hotel will organize all your visa papers 2 working days in advance if you ask them to do so. This cuts the agonizing chaotic hour wait at the Kuwait airport. Secondly they have a fantastic airport pick up service where you are greeted by multiple airport group staff that will escort you to either a brand new Mercedes S Class, Escalade or GMC Yukon. Third of all, once checking in the staff is very quick, polite and you are asked if you would like to have a complimentary drink.

The standards of the rooms are exceptional, with extremely large rooms that are classy and well kept. The rooms are very clean and equipped with numerous free bottles of water, free internet, free coffee and tea maker, iron board, lcd tv, free printer and lcd in the toilet.

I strongly advise any business or leisure traveler to stay at the Sheraton in Kuwait. I wish all other 5 Stars are up to these standards. True that the building from the outside does look old and tired, yet years of experienced have made this into a super hotel!!!

I was travelling to Manila on 27th July when arriving at Kuwait for transit to another plane discovered that our flight was delayed for 4 hours. Kuwait Airways arranged for us to stay at this wonderful hotel where reception was first class, allocating me an incredible twin room with a filipino fellow Ken, gave us all 3 minutes free international calls which proved invaluable in notifying my filipina girlfriend, along with food which was so delicious. Add to this the chance of a gorgeous shower with a few hours sleep and you can imagine that all of us were refreshed to continue our flight. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I could quite easily have stayed here instead of Manila and heartily recommend your hotel to one and all.

This really is a very good hotel. The rooms are luxurious, the facilities excellent and the service out of this world. It's also right on the main buisness drag so location is perfect as well.

The Indian restaurant on the top floor also serves the best Shrims Madras I have ever had, including in Madras (sorry those who like the new names but Shrimps Chennai just doesn't have the same ring!).

If you have to stay over in Kuwait, this is the place to stay, assuming your expenses stretch to it. I would say that this is the best Sheraton I have ever stayed in but sadly for Kuwait the Warsaw Sheraton vintage 2000 was the best for avariety of reasons...it may have been the beer, it may have been the party, it may have been the girlfriend...sorry!

There's not really a lot I can add to the other fantastic reviews of this hotel on here. The hotel exceeded my expectations, I especially thought the printer in the room was a helpful touch for working. There is also a dvd player with an extensive collection of dvds that you can have sent up to your room at no charge, and an excellent array of toiletries. Ticks all the boxes.

I spent one night at the Sheraton recently whilst on a business trip to Kuwait. This hotel must be one of the best in town, if not the best. The location is very central giving easy access to the city and the airport (traffic permitting). Overall I cant fault the Sheraton, the rooms are really large and well appointed, the service is prompt and professional. You wont go wrong if you choose this hotel.

Sheraton in Kuwait is the perfect hotel for business travelers.
When contacted before arrival, the hotel can arrange a visit Visa for you, so you bypass hour-long queues at the airport. Then they offer you a free pickup service in one of their hotel limos. At the hotel, you'll be greeted by a glass of fresh juice and cold towel. Check in is very efficient, hotel rooms are huge with free wireless internet. Most rooms also have an all-in-one printer, fax, scanner. A fruit basket, iron board, pants press, and a small LCD television in the bathroom is also standard in all rooms.
Choice for food is extensive. Buffet breakfast is the best in the middle east with everything from Sushi, to arabic items, continental, egg station, and much more.
Fitness center is one of kind complete with personalized TV on each treadmill, cycling bike with over 75 channels to choose from!
Did I also mention that staff is friendly, price is reasonable, and the hotel is centrally located and houses a rent a car, barber, and an ATM?

Don't think, book it NOW!

Stayed here for a night while on a business trip to the Gulf area. Nicest Sheraton I have ever stayed in. Room incredibly well equipped, first time I have ever seen a TV in the bathroom! Excellent restaurant, friendly staff all over.
