“Excellent Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

We stayed at this hotel for one night between flights in December 2012. We could not believe the size of the suite we had (and very cheap, too). In total we had 200 square meters, two bathrooms, three toilets, a living room - everything was clean, modern, excellent. Super service. Wonderful breakfast and it was very enjoyable to have it on the pool by the terrace. This hotel has a good location from the airport. Just watch out to agree the price in advance with the driver and to give him the address in Arabic (the one we had took us intentionally to the wrong place, to charge more). Apart from that minus (which was not the hotel's fault) everything else was fantastic for our stay. Would not hesitate to stay at this place again if returning to Bahrain.

Room Tip: I think some rooms have a balcony. Next time I would go for one that does since our's didn't...

Those two and a half days I spent with my family were enjoyable and the kids had a blast.
First impression was not satisfying as the room reserved was not available knowing I booked it a month earlier, yet the staff were polite and tried to compensate for the mistake.
Mahinz, was one of the finest and most welcoming receptionest i ever had to deal with in any hotel. Her simple hospitality without the professional reception sophistication made you feel personally welcomed to the hotel and she will go the extra mile to insure the satisfaction of the guests.
At the end I got a decent room I may describe it.
The two rooms suite was spaciouse and the view was great, over looking the swimming pool and the beach.
Furniture was decent and clean and the beds were comfortable. TV in the living room had a good number of cable TV channels, yet the one in the bedroom had very few free to air channels.
Bathrooms was the major down side. The cleaness was an issue I had to report to the management were Mizan Uddin and Sheeba Gilbert have followed on it was sincer concerned.
Be aware of the wedding tent, it get loud until late hours of night... That was not pleasant.
The gym and the bar are located at the fifteenth floor with spectacular view over Bahrain.
In general it's a nice get away for families, need more attention to cleanses and it's weather dependent hotel.

Room Tip: Choose high floor to avoid the wedding tent noise and choose a good time when weather is good to enj...

Specious seperated rooms and nice modern furniture. The rooms are comfy, the view from the rooms facing Sh.Isa bridge are ok, but better to choose the ones facing the open water sea view and Juffair. The food we ordered is ok but the kitchen didn't have cutlery and no iron in the room. But they did provide us when we asked.

2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2012

The moment I walked into the lobby, had a positive impression because of wonderful natural light flooding in. Sadly, it all went downhill from there. Lifts stopped working twice in the space of 2 weeks, bathrooms had hair in them and the drainage was clogged. Water ran out once when I was taking a bath. Towels clean but slightly frayed.

Tiny tiny gym, though seems that a lot of the members are serious about weights. no space for any floor exercises and was getting quite cramped even with 8 members in. The Ladies Jacuzzi had cold water and looked like it had not been cleaned or used in ages. A few machines under maintenance.

Throughout, the staff, especially the expat staff were very apologising and running around to fix things always with a smile. But a lot of this has to do with regular maintenance and the effort a hotel expends on upkeep.

Food decent.

Oh, and if you want rooms on the top floors because of the view, make sure you are a late or a heavy sleeper because the noise from all the parties on the top floors comes down and its impossible to sleep.

Location wise, where the hotel is, there are NO shops closeby. Have to cab it for everything, and there is no cab stand close by. Have to depend on the hotel to call one for you.

I had booked online for a three bedroom unit, but when I called to confirm, was told the room is not available. But was given two units of one and two bedrooms at the same price. No problem.
Rooms are big and well appointed. House keeping is friendly. Swiming area is good with plenty of staff on hand.
Breakfast buffet has a lot of choices. Room service food is good as well.
All in all enjoyed my stay. Just make sure you call and confirm if you book on line.
Will recommend this property to others.

I have stayed at this hotel on a few occasions. It is nice when you return to hotels and they remember you its very warm and inviting. Staff are lovely and always helpful with everything and anything. Suites are lovely and spacious especially the view into the sea gorgeous.
Shift bar is beautiful on a high floor overlooking the bay. The pool is nice and love the shisha in the evenings. Will definitely visit again.
