“Just Fine”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2014

It was actually not bad. It was just fine. I mean, it's just a tree in the middle of the dessert and that's it. But people said that you haven't actually visit Bahrain if you haven't visit the tree. It was just nice to be there. Nothing more special.

“It is a tree, fullstop!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2014

Is it a miracle, I will not argue, maybe! It is basically the only tree.
A tree in the middle of the oil fields, nothing within kilometres, no decent roads, nowhere to buy a bottle of water.

“Still hanging in there”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2014

Takes quite a while to get there, thru the oil fields, it's fun seeing the camping sites on the way
The tree is interesting, but not great, the info hut tells the story of it.
Is it worth the time, hard to say.
Easy to get lost as signs to it are OK but back tracking got us slightly lost.

“Still hanging in there”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2014

Took a bit to find as the road winds thru a oil field and is quite a way off the main road, seeing the camp sites in the oil fields are a hoot.
Sure is a old tree and they are upgrading the site with a wall, there is a very good history on the info area.
It is a far way to go for a single tree so dont get your hopes too high

“Its a tree......”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2014

......surrounded by oil and gas installations. If it was such an important tree you would have expected that the locals would not be able to climb all over it.
