“Failure reservation system ”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

I booked thru agoada.com in same day of reservation as it was one of best available rates and review scores.
Horrible Check-in process as it took ~ 25 minutes till I got my room number, my reservation was not updated on their system, I asked for a king size bed but they gave me small one, when I back to reception asking change room , they changed it another one with also small beds :-/
In morning when I went to restaurant , I didn't find my name on system either in old room or the new one, after long time they got a confirmation from reception about the room number but the restaurant waiter told me that breakfast is not included and will charge me!!!
I had to go to reception (restaurant in 31st floor) to solve issue of breakfast and then I back to restaurant again to get their bad food and cold tea! A family was next to my table: Father, mother and 3 children was eating but restaurant charged them for the three kids ! Very rude staff actually.

Location is very good , No alcohol.

I won't go there again

at first we get as a family with teen agers to 2 rooms as booked through Agoda.com
the rooms were far from each other and the AC in my room was not working
however the fantastic manager of the hotel Mr. Soneel was very nice and friendly and he promised us with better rooms next day.
and he kept his promise. he gave us a wonderful suit 2 bed rooms with a fantastic full gulf view and very spacious with nice working AC in all rooms with separate control..
he is the one made our stay in Bahrain fantastic.
the only problem with the hotel is the breakfast it is less than basic.

Room Tip: choose high floor and pick up rooms number 5&6 , you can skip the breakfast

Would seem that management originally intended to offer a 4 star property in a area where 4 star guests don't necessarily desire to be accommodated. Room was spacious and reasonably well maintained but already showing signs of wear & tear. Glazing does not block out noise from busy thoroughfare in front of the hotel - ferociously loud music from a party in an adjoining hotel could be clearly heard until well past midnight from my room located on the 16th floor! Room service's limited menu was 3 disgustingly soiled photocopied pages. Other than that, the only food served is breakfast on the 31st floor - the other advertised F&B outlets have not (yet!) seen the light of day as is the same for the sun terrace I had hoped to frequent. A basic breakfast worthy of a 2 to 3 star establishment is served from the very late time of 7:30 am. Breakfast room staff very kind & accommodating. Very dirty windows would tend to spoil the otherwise splendid view over Manama.

Very friendly and helpful staff especially the filipino girl at the front desk. Good sized room with stunning view across the bay. Good location with easy access to all the major sites and 5-10 minutes from the airport. Only downside was air conditioning which had 1 control per 2 rooms. Luckily there was nobody in the other room so staff kindly turned it down but not having option to control it yourself was annoying. Great breakfast with good choice and wonderful view from the breakfast room. The air conditioning would be the only thing stopping me staying here again if I was in Manama

Room Tip: Get one with a/c control!!!

We thought the hotel was great. Stayed on the 18th floor and had panoramic view of Bahrian. Very central and convenient. No tea or coffee or alcohol served in the hotel.

Next time I go I will make sure I have a room with thermostat. It seems two rooms share one thermostat and our neighbors loved it freezing cold. We had to get maintenance to pin some cardboard over the A/c vent so we didn't freeze to death.

Room Tip: ask for room with control of A/C

This is a brand new 32 storey hotel right next to Exhibition Road. It is a large 32 storey tower, right next to the Ramee Baisan and the Holiday Inn Express. If you are driving from the north of Bahrain down exhibition road it is on the right, beside the pedestrian bridge which crosses over to the marina from Hoora. Keep driving and then turn the first right before the Grand Mosque and double back. GO up Exhibition AVENUE, through two or three roundabouts (traffic circles) and turn right when you spot it. You can't really miss it, it's the tallest tower around.

The hotel is brand new so clean and shiny, though they still seem to have some problems with service. Room service didnt answer the phone though they were wuite prompt when I went to reception to order. The Wifi signal was strong but I couldnt get a connection.

Nice friendly and patient staff on reception.

Rooms are pretty basic but comfortable. A safe, a mini fridge with nothing in it but little in the way of hotel other hotel extras in the room and the minimum amount of toiletries. Great view from the 26th floor across the bay and a fantastic panoramic view from the hotel restaurant on the 31st and 32nd floors.

The most attractive thing about the hotel is the price, 60 Euros for 2 people for 1 night.

There are plenty of shops around and you can easily pick up a taxi.

Room Tip: The non smoking rooms are on the higher floors if you want a view.

Not sure where all the good reviews came from but this is my experience. Rooms are not bad but the hotel truly lacks services. No Bar, Really horrible breakfast, A/C always stuck on 25 degrees Celcius ( way too warm) no matter what you do it will not budge. The area is very shady and forget about anyone answering the phone when calling. All in all not a pleasant experience at all. I moved after one day. I tried to tell the manager why but he could care less and just walked away. So I walked away with my money and went elsewhere. Also they use some weird exchange rate for USD which is a ripoff. Make sure you get Bahraini Dinars before you go there and pay cash.

Room Tip: Don't stay there
