reluctant to provide room service (they will remind you its not free); some furniture need real maintenance work; excellent in providing cleaning daily; good location near city centre; card key failed twice; alarm bell went off at least twice; should provide telephone at the central corridor; nice wi-fi signal; the pool at the roof deck is kiddie type; the glazing in the scenic elevator as weel as the curtain wall in the room needs cleaning badly; overall comment in my 4-day stay : not bad average

Average hotel, did not expect much for the price.
We were on 5th floor the first night and did not sleep from 12 to 6am due to Extremely loud clubbing music.
Staff had no problem to move us to 8th floor the next day and we did not hear the music and had a good sleep.

Room Tip: Stay on 8th floor, otherwise be prepared to to be awake all night due to extremely loud club music.

This "hotel" is not a hotel in my opinion. It is not one bit welcoming and has a drab tired and worn out appearance. Although the staff are quite pleasant, my criticisms lie with the poor condition of the rooms and the communal areas. My room was dirty and there were many stains on the walls; the ceiling in the bathroom had holes in it; the carpet had stains in it and i didn't even want to take a chance at looking under the bed, until i checked out (just in case i dropped something). The furniture was in a very sorry state with cigarette burns and water marks.

The breakfast was very inadequate. A very poor selection. I only managed to find a glass of juice and a miniature pastry. I then went across to MacDonalds for breakfast and had a great breakfast muffin and coffee and orange juice for 1.6BHD.

The hotel front-desk staff use 2 way radios to communicate with the housekeeping, security and door staff, and it was a strange experience. The talking was also played over a loud speaker at the front door for some reason.

Location of the accommodation is OK, as you can easily go out and walk around.

To wrap-up, this is not a hotel, but more of a hostel in my opinion. Perfect for the budget traveler, but not suitable for vacation / relaxation.

Room Tip: Quietest rooms are other side of freeway / motorway

I use this hotel for business stays and have found it clean with the staff helpful with good wifi available.
Breakfast is good and there is an excellent buffet on a Thursday evening for 6BD. The location is great for good value restaurants serving excellent food (difficult to spend more than 5BD on a meal!). Also there is a good pharmacy and supermarket within a 2 mins walk.

The hotel is okay for location and parking. Parking is an unpaved lot beside the building.
The front desk was very rude. No greeting, no smile, nothing until after verifying my reservation. And when I handed them my reservation, he viewed it with disdain and skepticism.

The public areas of the hotel were worn and tired. The room itself was nice, a nonsmoking room on the 7th floor. There was a faint smell of smoke in the room. The view to the marina was very nice as well.

Breakfast the next day was sparse and not very appealing. Service was nonexistent, we only saw a waiter when he came around to verify what room we were staying in. Checkout took longer than normal, since they send someone to check the room out before letting you leave. However, I believe this is standard operating procedure in Bahrain.

This hotel is advertised as a 4 star, but it is more like a 2.5. Also, I would say that you will pay double what it is worth.

Room Tip: Stay on the 6th floor or above due to noise.

I stayed two nights at the Days Inn and got what i paid for. I was looking for a economical hotel to stretch my budget while i explored Bahrain. For US50 inc breakfast the hotel was value for money.

I arrived at the airport and was met by the hotel driver. This was included in my room rate.

The rooms are dated but I slept well on level 6. At check-in the staff were kind in explaining the noise of the higher levels and made sure i was comfortable. Even still i could hear the sounds but it was not anything significant. All three of the reception staff were very polite and helpful.

My room was on the end of the building and my view of the harbour was restricted. See picture.

I was firstly surprised to find that the hotel had a gym. However, it is located on the top level and is basically unusable for me. The air temperature was way too hot. The gym is more of a feature just to get a tick in the box, more so than useful for exercise in the heat.

Breakfast was good value. Eggs cooked to order. The breakfast dishes were different each day. The breakfast also included a selection of croissants and pastries.

The hotel is located away from the town centre. Within walking distance are food joints, pizza hut, McD and others. Cold Stores are also close by for water supplies. All of these places deliver to the hotel.

Getting to other places in town always involves having to deal with the Bahraini taxi drivers. They seem to be an unhappy lot. Always insist on the meter. Never accept their verbal fare offers. There is extra flagfall when they pickup from a hotel. If you are paying the extra flagfall ask the concierge to organise the fare and meter.

All up, I would be happy to stay at this hotel again. I slept well. I ate well at breakfast and in the surrounds.

The hotel does appear to cater more to an local party crowd with clubs in the basement, on level 3 and on level 10. The minibar in the room includes full 750ml bottle of spirits. I was not impacted by any of the party goers.

I enjoyed my time in Bahrain!

Room Tip: Don't worry about any incidental disco noise, just stay on the mid levels.

The hotel is an OK budget place, the staff not going out of their way to be friendly. The nice view over the harbour is at the cost of 24 x 7 noise from the dual carriageway. The biggest problem for me however was the very loud disco which kept me awake until it stopped at 6am. I called reception twice during the night and they promised to get the volume turned down (as if). It is the first time ever that I have checked out of a hotel early - reception didn't seem at all surprised. I moved to the Rivera Palace which was paradise by comparison.

Room Tip: If you want to sleep, chose a room someplace else!!
