We stopped by this restaurant which seemed at the time a little touristy, but once you're inside, you'll notice that there are actually a lot of non-tourists wandering around and sitting and eating. The other best part about this place is that the service is REALLY good. We didn't wait long for much at this place where we'd be waiting forever at a typical Jordanian restaurant. Normally, service is TERRIBLE.
The style of food was typical Middle Eastern, kind of Lebbanese. It was really really good. I had the lamb along with the normal appitizers and so on. I really liked the baba ghanoush in particular, it was really good. Their homemade pita bread was the side of a small pizza back home, warm and tasty!
I'd go back for sure were I to come back to Jerash.
