Ward Kabab is a very pleasant respite. We ate numerous meals here during our weeks in Amman. Both the lamb and the chicken kababs were "to write home about." The lamb chops were generous and tasty. Garlic cream was fantabulous. Pita was fresh, light and fluffy almost reminescent of a Mexican sopapilla. Seasonings were generous, but not overwhelming. The staff was always gracious and the service fast. The menu is in both Arabic and English. Be prepared to point since not all staff handled English. The restaurant has a walkup deli and an upstairs restaurant. During the unusual snow storm, the restaurant was the only one in the area which remained open as a service to customers. Excellent value, Kabab was 4 dinar.
