“Enjoyed it more than expected but worse internet connection ever!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

I very much enjoyed my stay and I might well go back in the future. The hotel is well located in a quite area near the Third Circle. Rooms are comfortable and bathrooms decent (not great but good enough except for toiletries). The pub on the ground floor is lively and a good place for a drink in the evening. The noise did not bother me but I was on the fourth floor so probably too far from it. Service was pleasant and attentive. Breakfast also of good quality, simple but very decent. One big cons, especially if you travel on business: the internet connection is truly appalling, worse ever! Please hotel management do something about it as I would like to come back and stay at the hotel in my future visits! Thanks!

This was the best hotel I stayed at in Jordan.

My room and bathroom were large, modern, and quite stylish, with attractive views from the window. Breakfast was quite good. Overall a pleasant stay.

Only criticisms: a minibar was provided, but there wasn't much in it. Though free wifi was provided, it wasn't working.

I took a large group and the stay went very smoothly. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, and breakfast was good in a nice area outside. The bar was also a good space to spend time.

Do print out a copy of the map they provide on their website as not everyone knows where it is.

Travel to Amman quite regularly but have only just come across this delightful and very friendly small hotel. Very clean, lovely rooms and nice character with great staff. Great Chinese and Japanese restaurant just round the corner but the hotel also serves excellent grub. Wont be staying at any of the big business hotels again now I've found this little gem.

We have stayed here many times when visiting Amman. It is good value for money and in an nice location. The rooms are big but dark, nice bathrooms. We have never had any problems with cleanliness. Compared to some of the 5 star hotels we have slept very well, not too cold or hot in the rooms, comfy beds. The breakfast is a bit boring, low quality juice and toast... Biggest issue is the nightclub in the pub, very loud on the weekends. We always stay on the 4th floor which is non smoking, so music is bearable. Hisham is next door to a very good Japanese restaurant, but Hishams a la carte is also above expectations. Parking might also be an issue, or that your taxi can't find it.

We stayed here for two nights. The room was immaculately clean and spacious but quite dark. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast was good with quite a bit of variety. I would like to have had some fresh fruit and maybe a choice of cereal though. All areas of the hotel were nice although the music in the Three Barrels bar was rather loud. Charming staff and quick service when I asked for a hair dryer. There is a kettle in the room but only tea supplied- no coffee. Also a bath mat would have been useful. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who wanted to stay in a smaller hotel rather than a Marriott or Sheraton etc.
We didn't have a meal in the restaurant but the food looked well prepared. The menu has local food but there is an awful lot of western food too which we don't want when travelling.

The Hisham Hotel played quite a large part in our lives during our visit to Amman in February. The weather was appalling and at times it would have been deemed folly to venture outside. Thus we found ourselves cooped up for a couple of days, which turned out to be a pretty good deal. The hotel has an excellent bar and a good menu, both of which we used extensively! The bar was very busy in the evenings but we experienced no problems with noise as other guests seemed to have done; perhaps out room on the fourth floor helped.
The rooms and the service were excellent; the staff went out of their way to keep guests happy.
Our only complaint takes me back to the bar; I think it was a Friday night and we were asked to move because tables had been booked. In itself this is not an issue, but we were moved at 18.00hrs and the other guests did not arrive until after 20.15hrs.
All in all a very good stay!

Room Tip: High up worked for us!
