“Do not stay here.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012 via mobile

I guess it has all the criteria for a 4/5 star hotel - restaurant, gym, pool, Jacuzzi, shop, plentiful hot water in spacious rooms BUT the location is terrible as is the buffet evening meal. Very difficult to get Wifi connection. Most rooms stink of cigarette smoke. Reception staff are not helpful. The room carpets are almost threadbare but the air cons work well.
All the place really needs is better management and a more careful selection of staff.
No alcohol is allowed or can be bought.
Peritas.

I took my kids to this hotel for one night because they wanted to swim. I booked a triple room. The size of the room was ok. But, the room was in a bad shape as it is outdated and clearly overused. The bathroom needs immediate renovation. The curtain inside the bathroom was dirty, the towels were worn-out and we didn't use them. Luckily we had our own towels. The flush wasn't working! They told us that the pool opens from 12 PM to 7 PM only! We had to check out at 12 PM so my kids couldn't swim except for one time when we arrived! I wouldn't give more than two stars for this hotel which is lower than the advertised three plus star rating! I booked this hotel based on the good ratings that I saw but it was a disappointment! The location was ok though which is maybe the only good thing I could think of! If I were in the management I would change all the towels immediately and renovate the rooms especially the bathrooms.

Room Tip: If you are using the parking next door make sure to tell them that you are a hotel guest. Try to get...

A fine, practical decent hotel, with it's main problem is how far it is from downtown.

Pros: -Rooms i think were very good, and very clean which is very important. Staff in the reception were friendly.

Cons: -Far away from Down town. It isn't a problem if u have a car or even by cabs which are accessible. But when I was looking for a quick bite I had to walk for a good 15 minutes.

-Wanted to Iron a shirt I have for a wedding and I was very surprised that the whole hotel dosen't have an Iron.
- Breakfast was ok, but nothing to look forward to.

Room Tip: Ask for a good room when booking.

The hotel is fine, although compared with 1,5 years ago it obviously needs some upgrade in the furniture and carpets.

The hotel is far away from the Amman centre, which requires some skills to stop taxi on the street (and better have address of destination written in Arabic as most of the drivers do not speak English - the same advise is valid for catching taxi at the airport: better have hotel name and address printed in Arabic). Taxi is cheap here, but it is definitely not a nice place for a walk - around are only apartment buildings and very busy street.

From furniture and infrastructure, hotel offers all basics. Do not expect too many luxuries or tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom was fine most of the time, although once I got room with extremely small shower where was impossible even to turn around (however, it was easy to change to another room with better bathroom). Wireless is available in whole hotel, but you have to ask for temporary access at reception (credentials are valid now 12h, which is already huge improvement from previous 1h allowance).

Breakfast or food... I guess, it serves the purpose, but is not inspiring. However, if you want alternatives, you will have to catch a taxi to the downtown...

Hotel staff really makes additional plus points for the hotel. Very nice, polite and helpful so far they can. But hotel does not have maps, and overall it is not arranged for leisure tourists. Main business here probably is arrangement o local weddings, as everyday I have been there, it was some huge celebrations on 2nd floor. Interesting to see guests in traditional or modern clothing, and the noise from celebrations was never an issue (probably because usually we get accommodated at 4-6 floors).

For us the hotel was fine as the hotel was closest near our business trip destination, but for vacation and pleasure I would not recommend to choose this hotel.

Stayed 2-nights at beginning of an Exodus tour of Jordan, and 1-night at the end. Served this purpose well....but the location not the best under ordinary circumstances. Nothing in the area of interest, and no Restaurants nearby, except in the hotel. Very busy 'highway' out-front (too dangerous to try to cross the road) but Taxi's into town only 3 or 4 JOD's, and are plentiful. Staff all friendly & very helpful. Food 'so-so' but acceptable; although not great variety.

If it wasn't for the fact we were joining a tour group (Exodus) we would have preferred a hotel closer into town & near some good restaurants.

Room Tip: Higher rooms...away from front of hotel.

Looks very luxurious, lobby nice, our room was very large and shower excellent. Quite far from downtown however taxi ride is only 4JD.
