“Ask for the Refurbished Rooms Only”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

We stayed here for 3 nights, for 2 nights we were given old rooms and for 1 night we were given the new rooms, the old and the new rooms have a HUGE difference.

The walls are very thin of the old rooms, we could hear people so loudly at 2 am which disturbed our sleep, There was miscommunication between a guest and the reception cause a guest knocked at our room at 3 am and thought it was his room, so that caused a lot of disturbance to us

The new rooms on the other hand are very good, the beds are comfortable and it changes the whole feeling of the room, I hope they renovate the older rooms too.

The hotel has a Gym and a Swimming Pool, the entrance to the swimming pool is through the gym, we kept on asking so many staff members there that where is the swimming pool but they kept on sending us to different directions, it is weird that they don't even know where is their swimming pool, the staff members should be more attentive in this matter

The breakfast good, but it could be better, There is no free wifi in the room, but it has free wifi in the lobby which is good. There are no restaurants near by, the nearest mall is Maxim Mall which is at a 15 to 20 mins walking. There is a very nice Sweet shop called Al Qudsi on the way to Maxim mall which has excellent Jordanian and Turkish Sweets.

Room Tip: Ask for the Renovated Rooms

Dear guest,

Many thanks for your feedback. Your comments are greatly appreciated and thank you for mentioning our renovation project and the difference we are making in our guest's experience. We are about 60% into the project and hope to be completed by the end of the summer. We have been overwhelmed with the demand and high occupancy which slowed down the project and delayed the completion.

Please accept our apology for the late disturbance as such mistakes although rare, but they do occur. It is surprising that you were not assisted with direction to the gym as all our staff have basic English skills and if the situation arises, they are instructed to make sure the guest is assisted by a fellow staff member. We sincerely hope to get the chance to be of service again and make up for any mistakes.

Wow! I can't believe how well this place is rated. Looking at the photos, you'd think this place is spectacular. It's not. I stayed here as part of a tour so we didn't spend too much time in the rooms thank goodness. Speaking of the rooms, they remind me of rooms in a Super 8 motel. The beds weren't comfortable at all. The bathroom wasn't very clean either. The hotel didn't offer any wash cloths. Or at the time they told us they didn't have any. I was a bit afraid to eat the food at the breakfast buffet...if that's what you want to call it. I was very disappointed with these accommodations. I can't recommend this place to anyone. I also can't imagine how this place has 4 stars and so does the local Kempinski. And just so you know, in case you decide to stay here, there is free wifi in the lobby.

Hello KendraDawnRN,

Thank you for taking the time to write. Please accept our apology for any inconvenience you might have experienced during your stay.

We do everything we can to make sure our guests leave us with a pleasant experience. As for the photos, the majority of the photos have been taken by the guests themselves, so I am not sure why you are trying to dis-credit our intention. As for the food quality, rest assured we take excellent care to make sure the quality of the ingredients is top and most importantly the safe methods of preparation also. In fact, the entire kitchen staff have gone through HACCP training to ensure proper handeling of all ingredients, material and supplies.

I sincerely hope we get the chance to serve you again and make sure you leave with great memories.

Someone wrote 2min walk to the Jett bus station (bus to Petra) but that's not really true. Measured it yesterday:Toledo is 15min walk to Jett bus one way and 25min walk in the opposite direction to reach downtown.
Was clean, nice bathroom and room was spacious and warm (it's quite cold right now(April) in Amman).
Our room was facing the little loud Mosque but we didn't mind. Very convenient to catch an early morning bus to Petra. Wi fi only in the lobby. We didn't use so can't comment on it.
Has inbuilt international wall sockets so can use the majority of chargers (European, American, Australian..)
Breakfast officially starts 6am but they'll say it's ok to come 5'45am to have a quick one. We didn't wanna risk missing the bus so we skipped it. Reasons behind it: When you buy tickets for the Jett bus they tell you at the office 'bus goes at 6'30am, be here at 6am'. No need for that. Have your breakfast, drink some coffee and go. As long as you're there by 6'30, you're fine. We ended up sitting for half an hour for no good reason. Bus wasn't there till 6'20.

We stayed three nights. Can't comment on price, as it was part of a package deal.

Rooms were clean and good quality. Range of food (buffet style) for both breakfast and dinner was better than all the other hotels we stayed at in Jordan. Service was friendly and helpful.

There is free wi-fi in the lobby, and paid wi-fi in the rooms.

Note that the King Abdullah Mosque is very nearby (we could see it from our room), and you will hear the call-to-prayer several times a day, the earliest being at 5am. Opinions in our family varied as to whether this was just annoying or added character to the experience - I was able to sleep through it after the first time.

no problems recomending this hotel, service was great and the view from the top floor at the back was worth being out of the center for. The big weekly market is oppisite the rear entrance but has no goods of intrest to a tourist, just go for the experince

I had a very brief stay at this hotel. It was about 6 hours following a night flight. Rooms were clean and big enough. Breakfast was fine. Staff was friendly. Overall this is an average hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast.
