“Phew ! Toledo”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

Would like to be honest. Chose this hotel based on Tripadvisors ratings. But was very depressed. Staff, check in all good. Getting to rooms very confusing. Rooms very odd shaped. Its hardly downtown...its near a big bus parking lot. For those who are old and invalid - its very difficult for them to walk to downtown and then get back. As on way back one has to climb uphill. The Senior manager. Mr. ibrahim, a very nice person. He tried his best to make us comfortable but there issues mentioned above. Breakfast was not bad. They have to have more english speaking staff especially in the restaurent.

We arrived in the evening at the hotel and stayed only one night with an early morning departure. Dinner buffet at the hotel was very good and only 10jod. There is a pharmacy, supermarket, restaurants and stores all within walking distance, though this is primary a residential neighborhood. We walked around the neighborhood until around 11:30pm and felt safe. Breakfast was also very good. Rooms were ok but as expected for budget accomodation. The bathrooms needs some remodelling, as the bathtub showed rust and cracks on multiple areas.

I have the opening night and the final night of a trip to Jordan in the Toledo and was very satisfied.

The staff were efficient and friendly and put themselves out to sort out a cock up in my transfer to the airport. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was good. It is nice an central so walking to Downtown area is c. 20 minutes.

Room Tip: If you are not keen on the 4.55 Call to Prayer from the nearly King Abdullah mosque ask for a room a...

We spent one night here, got in late and left early am. So I can't speak to the location but the rooms were clean and breakfast was fantastic. Staff were nice and helpful. No complaints at all. Would stay there again.

The hotel is just an average hotel, the room was spacious, the furniture was very tired and the claning wasn t good at all, specially from the bathroom. The breakfast was just a breakfast, nothing good or special at all. The price was good for amman, but comapred to others really 4 or 5 stars was a little bit expensive.
The bad thing is that for sure the mosque call wakes you up at night!

The best hotel we have stayed at in Jordan. Having done a tour of Jordan in 3 star hotels, this was the prettiest and with quite efficient staff. The only problem was a la carte dinner which definitely needs improvement. Quite centrally located as well.

We stayed for 3 nights at Toledo, and it was good. Breakfast was nice, rooms were a good size, and the service was good. Rooms could do with a refurb as they are quite dated. Overall a good hotel with friendly staff.
