This was my second stay at the Toledo in two years and I arrived one snowy, rainy and windy February afternoon without prior reservation and after much haggling, I was quoted 50 JD for a double-room for one person bed & breakfast for the night. Had I chosen to stay for longer, I would’ve been offered a bigger discount.
The Toledo is as solid as it was during my previous stay in 2010 – clean, easily-located (Abdali was pretty quiet at the time) and the breakfast was fair. There’s hot water all day and now even has free wi-fi in lobby which can sometimes reach the rooms, too. Otherwise, it’s 25 USD per 24 hours’ use inside the room. Helpful and very friendly staff, as always – they can advise you on anything from the weather to getting to Israel or Syria.
Ask for a room at the back of the hotel as it’s quieter (I stayed in Room 114)
