We stayed at the Crystal Suites for 4 nights in February. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, we arrived late Sunday evening and we allocated a room on the ground floor, this was one of the rooms which had not yet been renovated, the room was ok but the air conditioning unit was right outside the window so was quite noisy, the bathroom was old and tired but adequate. Because it was quite late, we asked if there was anyway of getting food, we were provided with a range of numbers that could be called and a takeaway ordered. We asked if we could change to one of the renovated rooms and this request was honoured the next morning when someone checked out. The new room on the fourth floor was very nicely furnished and modern. Internet was fast, there was a dvd player in the room and a selection of TV channels. The breakfast was of a good standard with plenty of local and international choices, omelettes were made to order. Overall a good mid-range hotel with a decent location on 5th Circle, a short taxi ride into the city centre and to other local facilities.

We made a reservation at the Crystal Suites at our last night in Amman. When we arrived, we were told that because a large group decided to check out late, we would not be able to check in until 11 PM, but gave us the option of checking into another hotel. There was no apology for this rather unusual situation. They took us to Hotel Misk, which was fine, but seemed to be in the middle of nowhere.

Great location exactly next to 5th circle which is considered the center to everything in Amman close to downtown and shopping mall, would defiantly come back again feels like home , staff was very friendly got a personal service and a great free DVD collection room was just newly renovated.

I've stayed at this hotel four nights. When I reached the hotel, I noticed there, that there are not only suites. I got a double room. I complained and called attention to the name of the Hote. Suite means the are all Suites. The staff at the front desk told me then that I would have to pay more 20 JD for a suite. Totally overpriced. I took then the suite for 75 JD per night. Had I known that before I would have gone into the Kempinski. It costs exactly the same. Breakfast is very simple and have used it only once. The Internet connection is the catastrophe. It worked not at all in the first night. Then only rarely. Inconvenient if you have to work. The heating system is very unfavorable. In the first room there was always warm. In the second room, it was too cold. This hotel is overpriced and the location is very bad. Be Aware.
