“A pleasant experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2012

The hotel has a bright airy lobby but few seats where guests can linger while waiting to check-in. Each floor has a spacious sitting area where you can meet guests or associates without taking them to your room. The floor area of the rooms is a little cramped. Not too much space for large pieces of luggage. The beds are comfortable but if you have the misfortune of getting a room facing the main road, the trucks and other vehicles passing by are bound to interrupt your slumber. There are cups and a hot water pot but there is no free coffee or tea. The fridge is empty as well. The ground floor dining area is spacious and well lighted. The food is tasty and there are adequate selections. I especially loved the dessert buffet. At breakfast, we were thrilled that they had an omelet station but were rather taken aback at the dour disposition of the chef stationed there. Conveniently located beside the hotel is a pharmacy but there aren't too many other establishments worth noting in the vicinity. On the whole, the hotel staff is pleasant and they do what they can to make your stay comfortable.

Room Tip: Pick a room away from the main road

The hotel is very noisy and the room we were given was at the front of the hotel next to a very busy road. There was a pedestrian overpass right outside our window so we could not open the blinds as people using the overpass could see directly into the room.
The breakfast could be quite easily missed. There was not enough of anything. Coffee was burnt and the orange juice (?) was reconstituted and did not taste like orange.
The hotel is sitiuated out of town and there was very little of interest near the hotel. (It was OK if you wanted a haircut (men) as every second shop was a barber shop. There was a lovely little pastry and ice-cream shop in the next block.

Room Tip: Ask for a room well away from the road.

The hotel had very clean, spacious suites that r well equipped and sound proof.
The toilets are clean and spacious but could be more modern and it needs more shelves around the sink as you can't put creams or perfumes there.
The service was standard.
The location z good also.
Very safe hotel

Overall a noisy place with little notion of service. The ventilation in the room makes a ruckus, otherwise the noise of room service in the hall will wake you up at 5 a.m. Breakfast is edible, but avoid the orange juice and have coffee if you really must. Wifi connection is good but not for free (10 JOD / 24 hrs).

I could tolerate here because it is part of a tour package and the breakfast and dinner is pretty decent. It is basic clean ensuite shelter with decent long bath. There is nothing much around the area and the service personnel are not very friendly.
